Excellent. Hotel was in a great location, clean, staff was helpful and courteous. Room was spacious with balcony, which was very nice. Breakfast spread was also very nice (selection and amount). We were really impressed with the value of the stay here. We did opt to pay extra for the included dinner, which was well worth it. I would rate the dinner 3.5 to 4 out of 5.
This is a 160 year old hotel, so expect things to be dated. However the keep it in good shape so that adds to the charm. You will not be disappointed here. I only wish the shower was a bit bigger…other than that, I thought it was great!

Het hotel ligt in centrum van Karlovy Vary op loopafstrand van het orachtige centrum met al zijn bronnen. Ligt aan een hele steile straat, waar je maar heel even je auto neer kan zetten. Het reserveren van een parkeerplaats is zeker aan te raden en die liggen op vijf minuten lopen van het hotel. Prachtige kamers. Wij hadden en grote kamer met uitzicht op de stad. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. 's Avonds heerlijk gegeten op het terras van het hotel. Het driegangendiner van voortreffelijk. En het ontbijt de volgende dag van helemaal superieur. Enorm veel keuze en wederom heerlijk op het terras gezeten met uitzicht op het centrum. Dit hotel verdiend een dikke 10.

The breakfast is excellent with many choices Best hotel breakfast during my stay in Europe Staff works very hard Front desk staff friendly, helpful and efficient Front desk staff were most helpful to book taxi and bus tickets for us Restaurant for dinner also very good Would highly recommend hotel romance. Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Karlovy Vary. We stayed in a suite over looking the main walkway. Breakfast was very good. Only minor concern would be the AC was not very strong. Luckily, it wasn't too hot while we were there. It might have been a concern if it was during a summer heatwave. Would definitely come back when in the area.

Beautiful Room, big beds, very friendly and helpful staff. The Hotel is located very central, and we had a nice view over the city. The breakfast was very delightful and had a big variety. The room was tidy and warm.
