Great english buffet breakfast. Amazing location just beside the national park for morning hikes. Great service by staff whom all communicate in good English and Mandarin. The hotel itself has floors that showcase collections by singers, actors and athletes.

The hotel is located right outside of the Seorak mountain. Great location!!! The staffs are very helpful and friendly. We got there early and they let us checked in early. The hotel is decorated with old english style and it shows the age throughout the room. The carpet can be replaced and some other things in the room. Our room had a very nice view of the mountain. Overall it was a very convenient and a nice stay. If you want to go Seorak mountain for an easy access, i would definitely recommend it.

Was really looking forward to my stay at the Kensington Hotel Seorak. But when I pay $263AU / night I have a certain expectation that a 4 star hotel will live up to the hype. The service at the check-in desk and in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel itself exudes 'history' and it was interesting spending time looking at the library, hallways and various displays on offer. The menus were adequate for our stay and we spent 29000KRW on the chicken and beer offer on the first night and the steak and wine (120000KRW) on the second night. Breakfasts were 29000KRW/pp or 10% off if you book at check-in were also value for money. However several aspects let the hotel down. Hot water was hard to get - I tried for an afternoon shower and again at midnight with no luck. Larger hotels in Korea tend to have central control over the air conditioning, so if you like a cool room you'll be out of luck by October?? Even having the small window open, and turning of the 'air conditioning, the room was stuffy. Having found a laundry bag and order form I was told that the hotel no longer offered that service. Disappointing. The towels were worn / frayed on the edges (they've passed their useabe date) and though the hotel room we were in had a great view the windows were so grubby it was hard to really enjoy the view. While I appreciate COVID has had an impact on the hotel industry generally, I'm pretty certain that the Kensington, with its views and proximity to Seoraksan, faired better than most. While I would stay here again I would like to think that for prime pricing the Kensington could up its game and ensure that such small issues were addressed.

Location of the hotel is perfect for hikers like us to walk to the entrance of the Seoraksan Mountain National Park (usually there will be a couple of kilometers queue of cars waiting for parking at the National Park’s parking lot). Staff were nice and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Room is very musky smell. We liked the hotel decor. Hotel buffet bfast is really good.

매년 찾게 될 수 밖에 없는 이유 직원분들의 친절함(방문할때마다 감동함), 엄청난 설악산 절경(애국심 뿜뿜), 심지어 조식 뷰까지 완.벽.(조식 맛있음 주의) 부모님도 좋아하시는 곳, 나중에 아기 낳으면 아기랑도 올거예요 안 올 이유가 없어요 올해도 정말 행복한 추억 만들고 갑니다

설악산에 가게 되면 꼭 투숙하게 되는 즐겨찾는 호텔입니다. 설악산 근처에 가격대비 이만한 호텔이 없다고 생각되는데 시설은 오래 되어 낙후되긴 했지만 그래도 호텔측에서 관리는 꾸준히 하는 것 같아요. 먼저 룸에서 보는 풍경이 설산이든, 단풍이든 너무 멋져서 그것만으로도 반이상은 먹고 들어가는?ㅎ 제생각은 그렇습니다. 시설이 오래 되었으나 전체적인 영국스타일이 앤티크하기도 하고 레트로한것도 좋아서 저는 개인적으로 좋아합니다. 또한 라운지카페에서 애프터눈티도 즐기고, 브런치도 먹었고, 커피도 마셨는데 맛도 괜찮아서 가성비 훌륭한것 같아요. 저는 여기에 숙박하지 않은 날에도 근처에 오게 되면 들려서 애프터눈티를 즐기곤 했는데 숙박하면 할인권도 주니 이보다 더 좋을순 없죠. 직원들 모두 친절했구요. 또한 조식당에서는 오믈렛이 맛있습니다. 여기 오믈렛은 예전부터 맛있었던 그기억때문에 오면 조식을 꼭 먹어요. 조식당의 풍경도 뭐 너무 멋지구요. 다만 아쉬운점이 있다면 오래된것을 지키는것도 나쁘진 않지만 욕실 거울이 너무 오래 되다보니 얼룩지거나 뿌연느낌도 있어 깨끗해보이지 않은 느낌이고, 변기 수압도 그리 세진 않아요. 또한 호텔 복도에서 방에서 누가 흡연을 하는지 담배냄새도 났구요 (이건 뭐 사실 투숙객이 잘못한 일이지만) 그래도 예전에 밖에 있던 편의점이 실내로 옮겨진것도 편하고(판매가짓수는 많지 않지만 그래도 필수품은 다 있는듯) 무엇보다 산행하고 돌아올때 너무 편리하죠. 호텔에 주차하고 걸어서 가고 하산하고도 호텔이 아까우니 빨리 돌아와 씻을 수 있다는 것도 장점입니다. 산에 오르지 않아도 설악산 풍경이 보고 싶을땐 앞으로도 자주 올것 같아요 이번에도 만족했어요.

酒店很老了，但是離雪岳山走路5分鐘到門口，很近。 水有點小，但是能將就。 唯一一點就是床品洗乾淨了，洗不掉的有漬床品應該做報廢處理。 建議在酒店把早餐吃了，不然附近真的沒啥吃的。

울산바위 등반이 목적이여서 가장 가까운 숙소인 켄싱턴 호텔에서 숙박을 하게 되었습니다. 로비에 들어서자 마자 직원들의 친절함에 반하였고, 영국 왕실 같은 인테리어에 두번 반했네요 청결함은 최고이고 침구가 너무 포근하고 좋아서 울산바위 등반 후 꿀잠을 잤습니다. 다음번에 설악산을 방문하면 무조건 켄싱턴입니다.
