Skopelos Holidays Hotel & Spa

To start with the positives, the staff are friendly, helpful and keen to please. The breakfast offered should have enough to cater for most peoples needs. It was very good. The main negatives, there are not enough sun loungers and not enough parasols (4). There is hardly any shade around the pool and ratio of loungers to guests are nowhere near enough. We witnessed people leaving loungers unoccupied for hours at a time, which could be easily fixed with some pool rules. Be careful when booking a room, as we booked with kitchen facilities and were told on arrival they don’t have them? So having purchased food, that went to waste. The walk down to town takes about 15 minutes, but do this in daylight hours. A taxi near the port costs €5 to return but they drop you at the entrance so you have a 2 minute walk up to the hotel.

Warm welcome at Skopelos Hotel and Spa. We stayed for 10 days having booked a bungalow with shared private pool. Upon arrival we were asked to vacate our room on day two of our stay for a wedding party. We were offered an equivalent room and complementary massage each in the spa and staff took great care to move our belongings to the new room. Both my husband and I had a massage from Nina in the spa which was amazing. Facilities at the hotel were good. Breakfast was extensive and we enjoyed a wide range of local produce each morning and were always welcomed with a smile by staff. Nothing was too much trouble and staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Mr Costa the concierge on reception was always on hand to help. Room was cleaned with great care daily by our wonderful cleaner who was always respectful of our privacy and extremely polite and friendly. We used the room service and dined in our room and in the restaurant a couple of times during our stay.Apor and Demerits who worked in the pool side bar and restaurant provided excellent service. They were friendly and helpful and made us feel special. Apors cocktails were particularly good. Food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. The hotel is not far from Skopelos town about 15 minute walk and there is plenty of car hire places. However we opted for cabs €5 to Skopelos Town which we found much easier. Not many taxis on the island and Anthi Panagou took us several times to explore local beaches at Milia and Limnonari which were absolutely beautiful. Anthi was a wonderful taxi driver with lots of local Knowledge and reasonably priced. Took a boat trip during our stay around a neighbouring island which we would highly recommend. Lots of local tavernas in Skopelos Town to choose from. We fell in love with Skopelos Island and would definitely recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here as the bar tender and front desk lady were very kind. I fell victim to some food poisoning (from a cafe in town) and the man working at the poolside bar gave my sister a Coke for me to drink for free! He ensured us that it was a great remedy for nausea and sick tummies and it really did help! The housekeeping staff did an amazing job sanitizing our room between the first and second night- it smelled so fresh and clean. Our patio had a nice view of the pool and was roomy. There were air conditioning units in each side of the room and the mini fridge was full stocked with complimentary drinks! The only thing that I might say is that the rooms could use a slight upgrade... They are a bit dated in terms of bedding and furniture. Also, most taxis won't drive up the driveway so we had to walk our way up most times with our heavy luggage): Anti is a great driver who will take her car all the way up... Otherwise, we had a nice time!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. It was amazing, the staff were so lovely, they made a cake and sang happy birthday. We had 2 bungalows with adjoining swimming pool which was beautiful, the setting is stunning. 5mins in a taxi into town and if you want Mamma Mia locations this is the place to stay. Just wonderful

Lovely hotel located just outside of Skopelos town. Set back from the road amongst old olive groves it is peace and tranquillity personified. Nice pool with a bar and all day food. Rooms were being updated (needed) but they are large and very comfortable. 20 minute stroll down hill to the main town - a bit of a slog back up later but a €5 cab fare sorts that out!

Mr. Apostolides and his staff were unbelievably welcoming and helpful. I made a mistake with the booking and despite him having no obligation to honor my wrong booking he went out of his way to help me. Unparalleled hospitality in a beautiful setting.

Recently stayed at Skopelos holiday hotel and spa. Located just a 3 minute taxi from Skopelos town port, the hotel is just far enough out of town to get quiet secluded beauty (with great views) but close enough to the local tavernas in town. The hotel itself looks a little tired (probably owed to Covid) the rooms were cleaned daily although please explain to cleaners that the do not disturb sign means such, we were woken up on day 4 to the cleaner opening our front door…. At 8.15 am. The staff were ok, we were a little underwhelmed as we were greeted at reception on arrival. Being a honeymoon couple we didn’t entirely feel special. We were told our room was upgraded but not really sure how, the water in the room appeared to have been left by previous guests and not even a “congratulations” despite us expressing it was our honeymoon. We didn’t actually eat at the hotel apart from complimentary breakfast, which was in fact quite extensive. Despite this you somehow got the feel that the staff maybe didn’t want to be there, not even as much of a smile unless you really sought it. Wide variety of nationalities staying at the hotel and ? Some friends of the staff were having drinks throughout the day, we kind of got the feel that the hotel was maybe being used not only by the guests. Despite this we hired a car and explored the delights of the beautiful Island. Our favourite village was Agnontas, a couple of villages along the coastline from the hotel. All in all this hotel was ok as a base to explore the amazing island of Skopelos. We will definitely visit Skopelos again, just maybe not stay at this hotel.

The hotel is located in a serene, beautiful property which can turn anyone into a nature lover! The view was majestic, while the combination of the Aegean sea with the divine green scenery of Skopelos island is the ideal recipe for the perfect getaway. The peaceful ambience was very relaxing, and the excellent hospitality made us feel like home! The stuff was extremely kind and helpful with everything we needed, their behavior and energy were so positive and sweet. What also impressed us was the breakfast and dinner buffet: quite a lot of options to choose from, great variety, delicious choices and such mouth-watering dishes with impressive appearance and yummy taste! I think of myself as a perfectionist and Skopelos Holidays hotel and spa surely had all my expectations met, including the cleanliness with frequent housekeeping service and well maintained areas everywhere. The overall hygiene seemed flawless even to my observative husband who is very demanding and conscious regarding the safety and protection from covid 19. We had a truly amazing stay, thank you so much! Highly recommended, totally worth the visit! Go for it!!
