The maintenance of this supposed 5-star hotel is quite poor; just take a glance at the furniture in their lobby, and you’ll see what I mean. I’m extremely disappointed by their service. Despite requesting payment at the counter, they failed to follow through even after three emails confirming the arrangement prior to my stay. It’s definitely not worth the price we paid. I have no intention of returning to stay here again.

Very good location just outside Tanjong Pagar MRT. The room is big and matress pillow very nice. The breakfast has many selection from continental to asian.
The minus point is that after the 1st night, they took all dressing gowns away and didnt give more slippers even if there were none anymore.

All the foods were delicious!

The quality of the hotel is bad for a hotel not so old. The lobby furniture sofa and chair look very worn out and old. Have bad experience cause I pay extra for “pay at hotel” selection. But still they charge my credit card before I arrive. Very disappointing with their unprofessional. For Sofitel branding is a let down. Will never stay here again. Disappointing…

Expensive because of the location. View is not great, hotel not very high floor too. Amenities was okay. Suitable for business travelers, not recommended for family.

Book for Anniversary + Christmas Celebration for my wife but was surprised that amenities request was not in system eventhough I did call beforehand and indicated in booking. Child amenities request and baby cot were also not in system but we were lucky they have cot available that day.
We were also provided conflicted information at point of booking via call that we can bring child to lounge to dine in a corner such as not to disturb other guest but was told child was not allowed when on site. The more disappointed one is that we have to take turn to go for our evening canapés while one look after our children in the room and what shock us more is that there were actually guest that brought child along dining there. Initially was also denied dining at the lounge stating that we got upgraded to club room instead of booking that but glad they manage to double check and resolve it. The communication could definitely be improved.
We do love our room and the breakfast spread!
