位置絕美，古堡風情也很獨特。

要是房間內有燒水壺就更好了

Zeer gastvrij ontvangst bij de receptie. Receptionist was bereid om laatste vrije kamer op 2e verdieping td tonen; comfortabel ruim en stil. Goed gevulde ijskast. Heerlijk bad. Onze tourfietsen konden veilig opgeborgen achter slot en grendel staan. Ontbijt was heerlijk en zeer gevarieerd. Aanrader

A beautiful castle turned into a hotel. You can feel the history. Beautiful large rooms in historical style. The restaurant and bar are wonderful. Siguenza is a wonderful historic town. Worth a visit.

We have visited about 50 Paradores, many of them in historic buildings. But it is fair to say that the Parador at Siguenza is the best of all the Castle-Paradores. The building itself is just stunning, it has been very well converted, and the maintenance is outstanding. Full marks to the housekeeping and maintenance teams, who keep it in perfect condition. We booked a Superior room, and were delighted with our choice, as we had a large balcony with beautiful far-reaching views, as well as a very spacious, almost palatial, room itself. The room and the bathroom were spotless. The evening meal was excellent (and sadly, there are Paradores where one cannot say that), as was the breakfast. The town is small enough for you to be able to walk down to the main sights, especially the magnificent cathedral, which is a must-see in Siguenza. The only negative was entirely our own fault. We took a wrong turn through town and ended up in a maze of tiny narrow streets in the Old Town where we expected to lose our side mirrors at any moment as we crept forward at walking pace. The Reception staff were very helpful in showing us an easy-peasy route away from the Parador and out of town, and teaching us how to get back to the Parador in a less stressful way, next time! The staff were professional and helpful

As you approach Siguenza you see the castle, which is the Parador, standing majestically above the town. There was a wedding on the day we arrived and we asked for a quiet room. It was lovely and quiet. The common parts of this historic building are on a grand scale with plenty of places to sit or wander. The bedroom was comfortable. The whole area was very interesting. Would love to go back.

Stunning location, magnificent hotel. However, no pool is a missed opportunity. The courtyard was a lovely place for evening drinks and the building was amongst the best I have ever stayed in. But, the restaurant severely lacked options, and was not great, especially with children. Overall we would return in cooler months.

We arrived in Siguenza with no idea what to expect because the hotel was chosen for us as part of a package. As we drove up the hill we were enchanted. This ancient castle has been masterfully transformed into a very comfortable hotel. Our room was large and comfortably appointed. There was a small window with a view of the countryside. AC worked very well. Very nice bar opened onto the courtyard. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold items. We ate dinner at the hotel once and enjoyed it very much, but there are several excellent restaurants within an easy walk. Siguenza is a small town, but my wife found enough to keep herself occupied for the two days we were there. The cathedral was particularly interesting, with an El Greco on display. This is quite a large property. When we arrived a tour group was staying there overnight. I suspect they get quite a few. It also seems to host functions like weddings. They certainly have the facilities, and it would be a charming venue. This was our first experience with the Parador group, which was founded in the 1920s. Since then it has apparently expanded to about a hundred properties, mostly in historic buildings. If Siguenza is typical, we will seek them out for future travel in this fascinating country.

Why is it that some hotel guests are so entitled? Queue jumping, demanding of staff, rude, insisting on re-arranging furniture to the exclusion of other guests and "stealing" food from the breakfast buffet to provide themselves with a free lunch! Rant over! The parador de Siguenza is a magnificent building, tastefully converted into a splendid hotel run by top quality staff. Apart from some of the other guests, we had a most enjoyable stay
