"## Location Unbeatable location. It's within walking distance of Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Deoksugung Palace. It's also close to City Hall, Myeongdong, Anguk, and Insadong, making it rich in commercial facilities. However, being in the Central Business District (CBD), the surroundings can be bustling with many office workers. ## View The view was also exceptional. However, I expect the quality of the view to vary significantly depending on the room line. In my case, it was a section of the Pagoda Tower that offered a great line of sight, with a panoramic view of the Euljiro building line – Hanhwa Building, Mirae Asset, Shinhan Bank – and the Cheonggyecheon Stream stretching out. While it might not appeal to those who find city views stifling, I personally found it very pleasing. ## Room I received an upgrade to a Jacuzzi Suite, and since the bed was separated from the rest of the space by a door, the bed didn't get damp like it sometimes does at Banyan Tree. The living room with the jacuzzi also didn't feel overly humid. The bedding and other furniture were impeccably clean. I was initially concerned because there was construction going on in the building during my visit, but I barely heard any noise. It seemed like a lot of attention was paid to soundproofing. The late check-out was also reasonably priced at 20,000 KRW, and overall, it was an excellent experience. ## Service Overall, the service was excellent, though I subtly felt that the staff weren't entirely accustomed to handling requests yet. However, this isn't to say there was a lack of professionalism. For some unknown reason, perhaps overbooking, I received a room upgrade without any inconvenience whatsoever. Any difficulties or questions I had during my stay were addressed promptly and smoothly. However, having to use a personal phone for room service or inquiries felt a bit awkward and was a slight downside. ## Overall Review A superb hotel that I would definitely revisit. It has solid fundamentals, reasonable pricing, and is just a minute's walk from Cheonggyecheon Stream, perfect for a stroll anytime. Its location is ideal for accessing major tourist spots anywhere in Seoul, including Myeongdong, City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Anguk, and Namsan. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for a pure 'hotelcation' (a vacation spent entirely at the hotel). It's highly recommended if sightseeing is a major part of your trip."

"Er waren geen problemen met de locatie of de netheid, maar één ding dat het extreem oncomfortabel maakte, was het ontbreken van een tafel in de kamer. Toen ik boekte, bekeek ik de foto's op de website van het hotel en besloot ik er te blijven nadat ik een bankachtige stoel en tafel bij het raam had gezien. Maar er moet een andere indeling zijn geweest, want een grote massagestoel en voetenbank hadden die plek ingenomen. Na mijn scrub had ik gehoopt op een eenvoudig diner op de kamer, maar dat idee heb ik laten varen. Zelfs na het zetten van koffie moesten we één kopje op het bureau voor de tv zetten en het andere kopje naast het bed. Het was niet erg comfortabel voor twee personen. Het was echter jammer, want het verstelbare bed had veel positieve aspecten."

"Locatie: Uitstekend Het hotel ligt ongeveer halverwege tussen station Gangnam en station Yeoksam. Het is heel dicht bij het station en er is een supermarkt tegenover het hotel. De ruit in de kamer waar ik verbleef was gebroken en gerepareerd met ducttape, wat ik een beetje gevaarlijk vond. Als je met drie of meer personen reist, is de kamer een ruime maisonette, dus ik denk dat het erg goed is. Het personeel bij de receptie was erg vriendelijk en je kunt ze altijd bereiken via LINE, zodat ze direct kunnen reageren als er iets is. Ze hebben me op veel manieren geholpen. Bedankt! Ik beveel dit hotel aan en zou er graag nog eens verblijven."

"Pros: The hotel is directly connected to an underground shopping area from which you can reach Myeongdong's main street via exit 15. The hotel also has YouTube access. Cons: 1. Housekeeping should really use 'do not disturb' or 'please make up room' signs. It was quite awkward when they knocked and, getting no answer, just let themselves in. I'm not sure if this is a cultural difference. 2. The soundproofing is terrible. If you're a light sleeper and your room faces the street, it will be very noisy. 3. Room cleanliness needs improvement; there were hairs on the bed and an unknown red stain on the pillow."

"We stayed for three nights and were very satisfied overall. HotelType: Serviced apartment Room: Simple design and clean Transport: Fairly convenient – 5-minute walk to City Hall Station; 12-minute walk to Myeongdong shopping district Surroundings: Plenty of restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores. Before 11 PM, some lively street noise may be heard in the room, but it generally didn’t disturb our sleep. We booked the Private Terrance Spa Room, where the elevator opens directly into our room. The staff had prepared aromatic oils in advance, so we were greeted with a pleasant fragrance upon entering. The room is divided into two main sections: 1. Kitchen & dining area – Though it looks bare at first glance, the storage cabinets are fully equipped with essentials, including a microwave and fridge. 2. Sleeping area – A nice surprise was that the room had two bathrooms, one with a shower (a lifesaver since we were traveling with two teenagers—you know how long they like to stay in the bathroom! 😆). Having two bathrooms was incredibly convenient for us. Some Notes 1) Before check-in, inform the hotel of your arrival time so they can prepare in advance. 2) No traditional lobby. There’s only one entrance. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor for the front desk. (If you prefer a dedicated concierge or a grand lobby, this might not suit you.) 3) Front desk is not 24/7, but they’ll exchange contact details (e.g., WhatsApp) so you won’t have trouble reaching them during your stay. 4) Daily service includes fresh towels, bottled water replenishment, and trash removal. Full room cleaning is provided every four days. 5) Bathtub drainage must be completed by 11 PM, allow **over an hour** for draining. Commercial bath bombs are not permitted; purchase approved ones from the hotel if needed. 6) For WOWPASS user, 2-min walk to GS25, a wowpass machine provides top up, buy snd sell KWR."

"De kamer is schoon en netjes, maar de badkamer is klein, vooral het douchen is niet erg handig. Maar de locatie is erg goed, direct naast de New World Duty Free Shop. Het is geweldig om zo'n hotel te hebben. Het hotel ligt naast de winkelstraat. Er is een kleine deur. U kunt de trap op en de lift nemen. De lobby bevindt zich op de 10e verdieping. We verbleven op de 7e verdieping en er waren geen ramen. Zet gewoon de airconditioner aan en deze wordt elke dag schoongemaakt."
