The experience was outstanding and fascinating. We celebrated our wedding Anniversary and you made it more colorful and beautiful with your great hospitality. Great location ,great heritage look and old fascinating interior which we miss during our stay in 5 star hotels. Room service was prompt and with lot of love and welcome. Priyanka thakur is very helpful and great staff of your made us feel very comfortable. She is a great asset to your hotel. Ganlas.

From the moment we arrived at the Oberoi Cecil in Shimla we were greeted with kind, knowledgeable and helpful staff: from the manager to the concierge, room cleaning staff, restaurant chefs and servers as well as the therapists at the spa, all staff went out of their way to provide extraordinarily levels of service. This a place with a guiding ethos: “What can we do to make your stay with us better?" To highlight specific individuals is difficult as all were exceptional. Special thanks to Chef Raj Kappur Bhattia and his team, Tenzin (at the spa) and Chirag, our room attendant who kept our suite as beautiful and tidy as when we first arrived. As well as its people, the hotel has fantastic facilities: a great restaurant with a wide selection of Indian, Asian and European dishes; the gym is well-equipped and the pool is heated (29C/84F). A definite 5 star review.

Services are excellent and the staff are happy to welcome us. Kitchen staff are best: Rajkumar, the main chef, excellent cook,he has cooked masala dosa for us. Dinning room staff, always there to assist. Arslan , are one of the best, smiling all the time. Reception, ladies are Well mannered and beautiful.

One of the most memorable trip we had ..stayed for three plus weeks .... Would like to thank the whole Cecil team. From the front desk to housekeeping and dinning and the security all are so helpful and humble . You will feel at home always if you are staying at Cecil .

The best hotel I have been to. The staff are excellent, food delicious and the hotel facilities very good. For information for the independent traveller, there is a small airport in Shimla and Tibet is doable from here. Shimla is stunning, lots of wild Monkeys, history- including House of the former Viceroys of India and walking in foothills of Himalayas

Mr Raj Kumar Bhatia, Kitchen Executive in Oberoi Cecil Shimla has served us very excelllently and his dedication for the hotel services is marvellous and unforgettable. He is having the outstanding personality. He is the pillar to the Oberoi Hotel by his attitude, food preparations, services and all that which would like to do by him for the customers. in the conclusion, I would like to dedicate that Mr Raj Kumar food is very delicious and prepared in a very hygienic manner. My recent stay at Cecil with my family is the best experience so far. From the courteous and polite staff, to buffet breakfast, it was an impeccable experience. Precisely everything is taken care of and the staff make you feel valued and makes your stay at Cecil a wonderful✨ memorable experience.

As is the standard of Oberoi, everything was 10 out of 10. Choose a room on the upper floor. Ground floor is open to the Lounge.

We went to The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla as a group of 10 to celebrate my father's 70th birthday. The amazing hospitality, attention to detail and wonderful food are highly appreciable. Smooth check-in courtesy Akshay, Komal, Navya and the front desk staff, amazing housekeeping - Anjali. My father was presented with a stole which he loved and arrangements for a cake with decorations was done by the hotel to add a cherry on top. The kids enjoyed the all weather pool and numerous games in the activity centre.
