I was very disappointed with the service. We arrived, no one was on the property to greet us. I called the number shown and the host/owner answered. I asked which cabin we were in and she initially scrambled to confirm as she commented 'let me check' and sounded uncertain, then provided the cabin number, noting she was not there on the property. We entered the cabin and it was a disaster. Beds unmade, garbage present, looking like people recently left and it was not cleaned. I called the host/owner back, could hear kids yelling in the back ground (unprofessional). She told us to check two other vacant cabins and to select one. We did that and I called her back to confirm which one we chose. I got her voice mail. The room had lots of ants in the kitchen area, climbing the walls and on the floor. Nearest place to eat was 30 minutes away. At point of payment I asked for a break in the cost due to poor service, the cabin not being ready, and the ants. She offered maximum $20 off - not to my satisfaction. I expressed my dissatisfaction and she was rather snippy (not sincere or apologetic) with her defensive tone on the phone along with admitting/justifying this is not her full time work or focus - that was evident for sure. She expressed that her and her husband have full time jobs and this is a side job - obviously not priority. That was obvious with the lack of presence, not greeting, and poor organization of the cabins. I would not recommend this place, even though the cabin and view was nice. Won't go back there.
