Premier Inn Sheffield City Centre (Angel Street)

Good service and nice room

Hotel is well located in city and facility are brilliant and cost wise very nice

Myself and my adult daughter who is autistic and has other dificulties always try to stay at Premier Inn as it is important that she knows the familiarity and reliability of this hotel chain regarging cleanliness,facilities and breakfast.She particularly struggles with bathroom facilities which are usually good.On arrival at about 3pm we unpacked then found that the washbasin was blocked and some unpleasant particles were floating up into the basin.I mentioned this to reception at 5pm on our way out.This problem was not resolved although I informed reception twice more .We were unable to us the basin as the debris and black bits floating up theplug hole were unpleasant and we had to clean our teeth with the bath taps which really unsettled my daughter.when we checked out I once again advised them that the basin was blocked befor future guests used the room.

The room looked a little worn and tired with a couple of minor things were broken and the carpet was a little faded but the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful and that made up for anything else !!

Stayed here as was attending the Paloma Faith Concert at City Hall. The lady on check in that evening was very friendly and chatty. Did not eat dinner as did not have time but had breakfast the next day and it was delicious, and the two ladies working up there (sorry did not get there names) were very welcoming If I am ever in Sheffield again this will be my preferred choice of hotel to stay in.

An extremely convenient hotel for walking into Sheffield, near the shop, restaurants and tram stops. Comfortable and clean. You can get a discount on one of the local car parks but you must use the right car park. Check on the Premier Inn website.

Enjoyed our stay in Sheffield for a concert at the city hall. Had a comfortable stay and staff were welcoming and friendly. A convenient hotel that was central for everything. The breakfast was well presented and always replenished.

We stay in a fair few premier inns we only stay here due to location to Ponds Forge. The hotel is ALWAYS short staffed 1 person on for breakfast on Saturday morning and about 40 swimmers turn up at 7am ran out of food , tables etc This doesn’t happen at other Premier Inns Evening meal didn’t have any rolls for the burgers , the small selection of cocktails they didn’t have some of the alcohol so couldn’t do them. Most of the staff were friendly but they just need more it is the most expensive Premier Inn that we stay in.
