Overall room was basic. There was a restaurant in the hotel that offer hot meals. It was low reason, thus the hostel was quite empty during our stay. Or perhaps the location was so close to the bus station, most hikers will hop into bus and back to Lijiang or Shangri-La straight away. The hotel is located uphill. The only trouble we faced was our baggages was stored at the public storage room downhill, and we had to carried our own baggages walk about 200m uphill, and 3 storey staircase to our room.

Perfect location on the hiking route. The rooms seem to be newly renovated but not the cleanest. There’s a restaurant in the facilities with some basic dishes.

The room we booked was not available due to upgrading. We were offered an upgrade by paying a small sum. The room is new but lacked kettle. The shower hot water was not so consistent. Maybe it is still being upgraded.

Very nice place to stay during your hike. Good choice of tasty meals. They can help you get low-cost transport to the Tiger Leaping Gorge and a transfer to your next stop.

We stayed in this hotel after our trekking in tiger leaping gorge. My friend was lost in the dark while walking back to the hotel, the staff quickly drove out to search for her, few minutes later she was back in the car. Thank you so much for the quick action. We really appreciate. Big and spacious room, very clean, room facing hill with fresh air. Definitely recommended.

A nice large room with windows on two sides, a full on view of the mountains! The bed with pillow top mattress was v comfortable.
The restaurant food offered a wide variety of dishes of good quality and modest price.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the receptionist checked to make sure we had purchased a bus ticket for our departure to Lijiang on the morning of our departure.
We would recommend Tina’s to other travellers

On the downside, amenities were quite basic in the dorms though it was comfortable enough
