Deze ervaring als koppel was perfect! De sfeer van het landhuis was heerlijk rustiek. De grote tuin met grasveld is ideaal om huisdieren vrij te laten rondrennen en spelen. De honden en katten van de zaak zijn lief en aanhankelijk; het was erg rustgevend om rustig in de tuin thee te drinken. We verbleven in een panoramische tweepersoonskamer, compleet met vloerverwarming door het hele huis en verspreide zuurstof, wat zorgde voor een comfortabel en veilig verblijf op deze hoogte. De kamer had kamerhoge ramen met een direct uitzicht op de bergweiden, een absoluut prachtig landschap. Ik raad dit hotel ten zeerste aan voor een verblijf in Shangri-La.

Impeccable hospitality! The staff Xiao Deng and Qiang make you feel welcome and at home. Day 1, I was worried if I can find my accommodation but all that went away when Xiao Deng greeted me at the train station and brought me right to my room. The room is spacious, clean and modernly furnished. The surroundings and fur friends is my favorite thing about this place. Thank you for making my trip so special.

If you want to experience what is it like to stay in a 'farm' area whereby there is nothing nearby you can try here. Especially if u love to have cats and dogs staying with you. The fluffy concierge is always waiting for the guest at the gate. Room is clean, quiet and provides heater and oxygen system. Breakfast is not nice. Didi to gu cheng need 20min.

Staying here really shaped our time at Shangri-la - may have enjoyed our time here as the highlight! It was perfect to relax here at the end of our Yunnan trip, away from the bustle of the ancient town. In April, the grass of Napa Hai was a bit dry with the "lake" area being diminished, so it wasn't as pristine and picturesque as seen in some photos. I did love the expanse of the clouds in the sky though. Also, to get to nicer and more scenic spots, that required calling a Didi (which didn't take long, in spite of this place being more remote) - just something to note. When coming back from the ancient city, it does take longer (and the roads are quite dark at night), but we didn't have any problems getting back. Our favorite part was all the super friendly animals roaming around - "Ke le" (Coke) and "Ka fe" (Coffee) the two samoyed dogs, "Duo duo" and "Dou dou" the two cats. Each time, they came to greet us. On one night, Duo duo the cat followed us into our room upstairs and started taking a nap; on the second night, Ke le, the large white samoyed, came into our room and started relaxing there, happily drooling and panting all the while. During one of the mornings, we had breakfast, and both (especially Ke le) were also clustered around us. On one of the days where we were heading out, Ke le even walked all the way with us to the street entrance where we called a taxi. (Apparently Ke le often accompanies and sends guests off.) Breakfast was the familiar mi xian noodles, with some pickled vegetables available. We enjoyed the pets around us as we ate. The accommodations were also super modern and very fancy, one of the best renovated stays I've experienced. They even had a machine that would increase the oxygen flow in the evenings, an air purifier, and floor heating - the whole floor got very warm. Very comfortable beds. The shower and toilet are in separate rooms, with the sink in the middle - slightly inconvenient to change in the shower, but not a big problem. The staff was super helpful too! They came to pick us up from the train station upon arrival, and even sent us back when we were leaving around 6:30am (thanks to him for waking up so early to help us, even before the sun had risen)! It's about 10-15min away from the train station, very convenient. When we arrived, there was even a complimentary afternoon tea and snacks option, which they delivered to our room. There's also a rack of Tibetan-esque clothing you can borrow, though we opted to try some other clothes in the ancient city. It was hard to leave after the affection of the animals and how relaxing it was - wish we could've stayed longer!

It was a good experience for my family. The hoghlight of the trip, very accomodating and really good view. Highly recommended!

Honestly as a Singaporean with super high standards for hotels, this place greatly exceeded both me and my partner's expectations, and was one of the best I've ever stayed in. Staying here didn't feel transactional, like I was just staying at another hotel, we felt like we were a part of their family. We were warmly welcomed when we first reached Shangri-La, and when we struggled to get a DiDi and was rushing to make it for our pre-booked tour, a staff from the homestay immediately sent us there without any additional costs even though it was extremely last minute. Even up until the last day, they also offered to send us to the train station at 5+ am as it was hard to get a DiDi at that timing, at no extra cost as well. We were honestly so touched by these actions. They also provided us tips about exploring the place when we asked and even offered to drive us there as well! Other than the amazing treatment by everyone there, the room and place were super clean, and probably the cleanest out of all the hotels I stayed in during my trip. All the facilities were new and high tech too. Additionally, there were super cute pets in the hotels that follows us around and even comes up to our room. One of the cats even slept in our room on our first night! On one of the nights were we left the homestay when it was dark, the samoyed followed us and guided us through the dark hehe, this place was the best for an animal lover like me. There's absolutely nothing bad I could ever say about this place, and honestly I'm tempted to come back to Shangri-La just so I can stay at this place. That's how much we loved it here. Thank you so so so much to the hotel and the staff there for treating us so warmly and making us feel like we were part of your family, as first timers to Shangri-La, you guys have definitely made a lasting impression on us. We hope to see you guys, Ke Le (the samoyed), and the cats soon ＜3

It’s a lovely place to stay!!! We stayed for 4 nights and had the best time. The owners were helpful and they even have pets that greet you!! Breakfast and teabreak was delicious too! Room was spacious and comfortable. Definitely recommend!!!

Really friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location, peaceful spot. Lovely pets to wake up to and come home to during your travels. The staff were incredibly helpful in dealing with the altitude, as well as planning our trip and picking us up/getting our things to the station on time. A really nice place that we were already considering returning to for a longer stay as soon as we left.
