Golden Rhythm Wild Courtyard, Shangri-La Lakeside Ranch

1. Service - was amazing from the time I got picked up from the train station and during my stay there. Service staff was attentive and would constantly update me on things I needed to take note of (e.g. weather for the day). 2. Food - breakfast was included for my stay and it was simple and good! I did eat at the hotel for lunch/dinner - felt that the food was pretty good too! 3. Room - was amazing. View was great, so were the toiletries provided. They were very considerate and put out items to deal with mosquitoes, altitude sickness, etc.

Perfect 20/20 We stayed 4 days 3 nights and it was perfect, service, Room, breakfast, décoration, view, calm, night fire. We loved everything. WE Will come back for sure

We’re really glad we found this hotel. Such a wonderful place with absolutely brilliant service. That magnificent view of the grassland and the animals on the grounds was a fantastic experience for the whole family. In the evenings, there were campfires with music and dancing. Everything in the hotel is very clean and tidy. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another night straight away.

The most incredible stay! We stayed in the cabins and they were luxurious, clean and had everything you needed. The views were incredible too! The wandering deer and alpacas were such a special and beautiful experience- just wandering freely around the grounds. The deer would often come to our room for snacks and cuddles- unforgettable! The staff went above and beyond in everything that they did- organising horse riding, the firepit event, taking us to the train station- always willing to help!

The prairie and lake view from our room was absolutely beautiful - we could see yaks, cows and horses grazing right outside our window. What a peaceful and stunning start to each day! The staff here were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout. They kept us well-informed by sending reminders and program details via WeChat, and we could easily reach the front desk through the app for anything we needed. Breakfast could even be delivered to our room upon request. Complimentary coffee, tea, and orange juice were available all day. The hotel grounds were a hit with our kids - two llamas and two deer roam freely around the property, and feeding them was such a fun experience. The daily bonfire party at 8pm was another highlight. We toasted marshmallows, made popcorn, learned the traditional dance, and socialised with other guests. To top it off, there is a free transfer service from the train station or airport, which made our arrival/ departure smoother. Highly recommend this place for families!

The only hotel in the entire Shangri-La area with the Black Pearl award & one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at! They upgraded our room for free to the largest 2-person suite. The service was wonderful, and the staff were so attentive and considerate. All of the activities were so much fun (especially the nighttime bonfire), and the food was great too. The interior is beautifully designed—even prettier in person. We absolutely loved this location; the grassland was so peaceful and serene. The surrounding area is very different from the Napa Lake observation deck. Could not recommend this hotel enough! I cannot wait to be back.

Super good experience! Loved the decor, the service and how all the staff were so helpful and enthusiastic. 10/10 will recommend. There’s a really nice view overlooking a wide grassland from the hotel and the animals are adorable. Highlight of my entire Yunnan trip.

Great stay - exactly what I was looking out for a natural Shangrila stay. The hotel was aesthetic, cozy and homely! Many activities like campfire, playing with deers/alpacas, breakfast,etc! Really different from city vibes and great views of the grassland everyday! Staff on site were also really helpful and nice, truly a great stay that made the trip!

This was truly one of the best highlights of our trip. From our arrival to the final moments at the hotel, we were greeted with warm hospitality from all of the staff. All of the spaces were very well considered to the finest detail to detail. The meals were delicious with an an beatable backdrop of the Napa Hai Grasslands and mountains beyond. Highly recommend without hesitation. We wished we had spent at least another day here but it was unexpectedly cut short.
