Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay (Dukezong Ancient City Branch)

Location is inside dukezong ancient city. Didi can rch directly. Place is very clean. Wifi is good. Right outside is convenience store and quite a lot of food. Abt 5 min walk to guishan park entrance. Owner and his wife and son are all very friendly people. I took a tour to rch here, came early intending to bag drop but owner allowed me to check in early. Hot water is pretty much instantaneous here, dont need to wait. Slight lack of plugs. Cos they also provide oxygen machine and humidifier and electric bed warmer haha. All life savers as night here is very cold and dry. Laundry also available on second level but no dryer though. On my last night i came back freezing and owner son offered me nescafe coffee bags! Cant believe got nescafe in shangri-la haha! Owner also provide transport to shangri-la station upon check out. Lady boss offered me ginger tea when she heard i caught a cold. Very friendly people. There is also a dog here that greets all people politely. Overall a great stay!

We had a great time staying at Banxia Time Homestay. Owner and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Room is clean and comfortable, equipped with heater. Location is convenient and very close the ancient town of Dukezong. Restaurant with good food (凤姐小吃）and convenience store right next to main entrance of the homestay. There is a resident dog, Momo, she made our day everyday and we can’t wait to be back in Shangri-La again!

We arrived early from Lijiang and the boss allows us to check in early to rest. The entrance area upon arrival was welcoming. Very aesthetics. You can even ask their help to arrange tour. Very helpful and informative. The room was big enough for 4 persons. There is a sofa and table and still enough room to put our bags. We are located at first floor and is convenient to go in and out. What i like there is 2 separate toilet. The place is at dukezong and convenient to move around where There a lot of nice shops and Cafe. There are 2 halal restaurant which are walking distance about 12 mins walk. There is and oxygen tank in our room which convenient when my husband can't breathe early in the morning. They help to arrange transport to train early morning. Our train ride back at kunming is at 7.20am and we are thankful that the car is on time. Overall highly recommended to come and stay at this place. We are truly thankful to meet with kind people at this hotel. There is a cute dog too.

will definitely recommend this homestay!!! very clean & good location! owners were super welcoming & helpful as well. we couldn’t book a cab to the airport on the last day, so he booked & even paid for us😭😭 would love to stay here again, they also have a rlly cute dog!!

The location is extremely convenient, and the owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I'm definitely planning to return! Also, their dog was absolutely adorable!!

Location is excellent, located in the middle of Ancient Town. The car can drop us off/pick up infront of the hotel. The ambiance is so comfy. Staff are really nice, friendly and willing to help. The room and facilities are amazing. The heating floor is great for winter. The heating beds are also great. The most impressive is automatic toilet like in Japan. I would say this hotel is worth for what we paid 👍👍👍 I recommend this hotel to the one who would like to stay in the ancient town. Foreigners are accepted. FYI, English name of the hotel is Half Summer Time
