Muchen Hotel Shangrao (Shangrao high-speed railway station Branch)

De hotelomgeving overtrof mijn verwachtingen, de hygiëne was uitstekend en de geluidsisolatie was goed. Het personeel was vriendelijk en reageerde snel. Het was over het algemeen rustig en comfortabel, een zeer aangenaam verblijf. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding was absoluut geweldig! De kamer was ruim en licht, de toiletartikelen waren compleet en de locatie was handig, dicht bij zowel vervoer als eetgelegenheden. De service was attent, zeker de moeite waard om terug te komen!

Omdat we er bewust voor kozen om vlakbij het Shangrao treinstation te verblijven vanwege de treinreizen, was de locatie voor ons geweldig, want het was maar 10 minuten lopen (zorg wel dat je weet hoe je moet navigeren). Er is geen restaurant in de buurt van het hotel, dus zorg ervoor dat je betaalt voor het ontbijtbuffet. Dat was uitgebreid met een standaard Chinese selectie en een beperkte continentale keuze (zie foto's). Het is ongeveer 30 yuan en 20 minuten met de taxi (neem een ​​Didi-taxi of houd er een paar aan die buiten geparkeerd staan) naar het stadscentrum als je daarheen moet (minder dan 10 km). De kamer was schoon en het personeel was professioneel.

Room is large, clean, bright, good air conditioner, good WiFi. Laminated floor is spotless and clean. Sink is outside the bathroom, which makes it easy for guests to use different purposes at the same time. Bathroom has adequate space with shower separated from seating toilet by a glass door. Shower floor doesn't look nice but clean. Good water pressure and hot water is fast enough to warm up. The hotel has a bright outlook at night. Its location close to the train station with free pickup and drop-off makes travel plan easier than staying in the Wangxian Valley scenic area as taxi can be hailed even at late time from Wangxian Valley back to the hotel if you plan to travel by train the next day. Free breakfast with basic food like porridge, noodles, bread, wonton... Staff is very helpful in providing necessary advice and stuff. An interesting experience is the robot that delivers items to the room. No restaurants, convenience stores ir supermarket within walking distance except a beef one across the street in view. Very competitive room rate with this comfortable hotel. Will come back again. Highly recommended.

Room is clean and tidy but everyone smoking everywhere in hotel and no one preventing them. Can find burned cigarettes everywhere. At night, reception is not available and during the stay some people quarreling loud right in front of room door. No one helping out. Lost a full night sleep. However, for this price is quite ok to stay.

I spent the night here after my trip to Wangxian Valley, the staff was really helpful and kind.

My stay at Muchen Hotel in Shangrao was honestly disappointing. The only real advantage is the location near the railway station, although even that comes with problems because the entire area around the hotel is under construction with unclear roads and difficult access. I booked a suite and specifically chose this hotel because they promised transportation service to and from the railway station. Unfortunately, despite asking multiple times and being promised it again by the staff, the service never happened. They also mentioned a welcome gift during booking, which I never received. The room itself was only average and not particularly clean. One thing I really disliked was the use of disposable towels. When paying for a hotel suite, I expect proper hotel standards and comfort, not something that feels closer to a hostel or temporary stay accommodation. The service was the biggest disappointment. The staff felt cold and unwelcoming throughout the stay. I even asked politely about adding breakfast because it was unclear in my booking, but there was no effort to help or accommodate the request. Overall, I was genuinely surprised by how poor the hospitality and service quality were.

Amazing hotel! Perfect for arriving with the bus or train, staying there a night or two and then continuing the journey. The hotel room was very clean and convenient. At the indoor gym I could do a workout and the breakfast at the next day was delicious. I can really recommend this hotel to everyone. For that price, you get a great value in this area!

Beautiful room, very clean and very well equipped. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station and has bus stations nearby to go into the city. I would stay here again!

Staff are very accommodating. Just need a little more cleanliness. Over all a good stay.
