The Saujana is truly a hidden gem. The place is good for anyone in need for getaway. It will offer you calmness and good relaxing that you need. The room was quite clean and I love the dim light. You can fall asleep straight away! Lol. Very recommended ☺️

Overall, I and my husband had a great experience with the stay at The Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur; staff were very friendly, helpful, and the environment was great. The room was antique and perfect to chill for a short day out. But need some upgrades and better maintenance on the room amenities because when we checked in there was a dirty towel left in the bathtub and a board below the tv was not sealed properly. In toilet the floor was a-bit slippery and the water heater adjustment was a ridiculous part need to spend more time to set your ideal temperature. The breakfast was so expensive if dine in room. The docking speaker wasn’t working. The weighing machine was showing low battery.

This hotel offers a fantastic environment with clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms, providing a great overall experience.
However, with three reception desks available, we were hopeful for a swift check-in. We chose the middle queue thinking that it would be the fastest there, but the Malay male receptionist handling our line worked at a painstakingly slow pace, guests behind us gave up on this queue and turned to the fast service of the other Chinese female receptionists. By the time it was their turn, the Malay receptionist hadn't even finished helping the people in front of us.
While the rooms were well equipped with basic toiletries, it was unfortunate that the soap and body wash were not replenished in a timely manner. Moreover, there were noticeable issues with the bathroom facilities, the rain head were faulty and could not be turned, and the hand shower exhibited erratic water temperature changes, fluctuating between hot and cold.
Despite these setbacks, the hotel offered a reasonably good experience considering the price.

We are surprise with the poor condition of the hotel after our last stay a year ago. The room is old and not as hygienic as before. Food is not as good as before too. May consider switch to A Famosa Golf club for future stay as my UK bosses like to play Golfing in Malaysia.

Look elsewhere if you’re looking to experience 5-star service.
Downside:
1) service and amenities are nowhere near 5-star level.
2) limits water bottle to two a day (even 3 star hotel don’t do that)
3) breakfast is below average. Again, same level as a 3-star hotel. Tho the service in Charcoal was commendable.
4) reception was grumpy and did not do seem like he wanted anyone there. Just did not feel welcoming.
5) reception only gave 1 key card when checked in. Hesitated and showed an unhappy face when we requested for another one.
Upside:
1) bayu lounge is great and relaxing with great happy hour deals
2) rooms are updated and new
3) free and ample parking space
4) quiet and relaxing if you’re looking for a short getaway (with subpar service. Refer to downsides)
Overall, the hotel itself is good. Service and amenities can be much better to call itself a 5-star hotel.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, luxurious, and the atmosphere was calming. The facilities were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the swimming pools. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to returning in the future.
