Villaggio Narrante - le Case dei Conti Mirafiore

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a VBT bicycling tour of Piedmont and Liguria. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a little balcony that looked over the grounds, winery and vineyards. One of the coolest parts of the room was the in-room "wine cellar" that took the concept of the minibar to the next level, and with very affordable pricing...about 19 euro for a delicious bottle of sparkling wine. We had a lovely catered dinner in the spa building at the top of the hill one night and also ate dinner one night in the lobby restaurant. Both meals were excellent and paired with their delicious wines. The small breakfast buffet was complemented with made-to-order eggs. Through the VBT group, we received a tour of their wine cellar and a fun truffle hunting expedition in the woods on the grounds. Just a couple miles from the hotel is the cute town of Serralunga D'Alba, with a few shops, restaurants and even an Eataly outpost.

Lovely grounds with multiple buildings housing 2 hotels, a winery and gardens. Centuries old property with lots of history, if you take the time to get a tour of the place. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, with many selections from which to choose. Choice of some of their wines available in the room, at what seemed like a decent price, but I was too tired to consume a whole bottle of wine!

A hidden gem, glad we took a pit stop here. The staff (especially Irene) were lovely.

The area around the property is beautiful with rolling hills of vineyards. We had a large patio made private with shrubs. Our room was large and comfortable, modern and very clean. Nice spa-type amenities in the room including a shower head with multiple settings, body balm, jar of face mask, fragrant shampoo and conditioner. A 6 bottle wine cabinet was in the room with an extra charge to use the wine. Free bottled water in the room. The staff helpful. We would definitely return to this exceptional property.

Esperienza terribile assolutamente da dimenticare!!!! Avevo prenotato un soggiorno di una notte per regalare al mio compagno un compleanno in quella che doveva essere una magnifica struttura immersa nella storia e nelle vigne e mi sono trovata a soggiornare in una camera all’interno dell’hotel a 4 stelle tanto blasonato, infestata letteralmente da cimici e insetti vari. Ho passato il pomeriggio dall’arrivo alla cena insieme al personale dello staff a cercare di eliminare insetti infestanti, perdendo tempo e opportunità visto che anche l’intervento dei manutentori che hanno smontato lampadari e prese dell’aria non è valso a risolvere il problema. Dopo cena la caccia è’ ricominciata finché alle 22, disperata ho richiamato la reception facendo le rimostranze del caso. Solo Alle ore 23 ci è’ stata data l’opportunità di dormire in una camera della foresteria collocata dall’altra parte del parco, camera di categoria inferiore ma almeno pulita. Al momento di definire i dettagli del soggiorno con la direzione, ho dovuto avere delle parole per vedermi riconosciuto il terribile disagio e stornato dall’importo già pagato di una camera di un hotel 4 stelle, la differenza del pernottamento in una camera di categoria inferiore. Inaccettabile!!! Nemmeno un hotel a una stella avrebbe gestito così la situazione. Per colpa di problemi della struttura che non è stata in grado di garantire pulizia e l’igiene che si pretendono quando si prenotano camere di un certo livello, abbiamo trascorso un compleanno assolutamente da dimenticare purtroppo!

Localização e propriedade privilegiadas, no circuito do Barolo. Os quartos são muito limpos, com decoração de bom gosto e espaçosos. O bosque e os vinhedos da propriedade são dos sonhos. O serviço deixou a desejar. Não há muita ajuda, os preços são muito caros, se não se reservar não é possível nem tomar um drink no bar ao lado da recepção. Em uma noite tentei comer e beber algo, falaram que me atenderiam apenas para uma bebida, e após aguardar por 1h não fui atendida por nenhum dos cerca de 10 garçons que trabalhavam no local. Por outro lado, foram gentis ao presentearem meu marido com um Alta Langa por seu aniversário.
