Across the road from a train station, and there are several small shops and eateries nearby.

Someone said Koreana is an old hotel, but it has all the best aspects of being an established hotel : not that far from City Hall exit 3, spacious room including toilet & bath, airport bus pick up, city tour stop, and even bicycles for loan. Good for first visits to Seoul.

Our recent stay at the Koreana Hotel in Seoul was primarily chosen for its unbeatable convenience, situated directly at a Metro and bus station and near Gyeongbokgung Palace, making city exploration a breeze. Furthermore, the direct airport bus service from the hotel entrance added to the ease of travel, particularly appreciated by those navigating the journey to and from the airport. The rooms at the Koreana Hotel are functional, catering well to the needs of a traveler looking for a straightforward place to rest. However, it's worth noting that while everything served its purpose, the decor and furnishings did feel outdated and in need of a refresh. Despite this, the availability of hassle-free WiFi and sufficiently comfortable beds for a night's stay made up for any lack in aesthetic or modernity. Check-in was a smooth process, complemented by the welcoming and friendly demeanor of the hotel staff. As for dining, we opted to explore local eateries outside of the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food and beverage offerings within the hotel. This decision was more about seizing the opportunity to explore Seoul’s vibrant food scene rather than a reflection on the hotel’s dining services. In conclusion, the Koreana Hotel served as a functional base for our one-night stay in Seoul. Its prime location and the ease of access to public transport were its strongest points. While the room interiors could definitely benefit from an update, the overall experience was satisfactory for our short visit. This hotel could be a good choice for travelers seeking practical accommodation with great transport links.

The stay at Koreana Hotel was designed to be close to the start of the Seoul Marathon. The location is ideal and overall everything ran smoothly.

The hotel’s staff is very friendly, responsible, and helpful, we had a problem with the room and they solved it right away. The gym is really large and is equipped with lots of machines; there is even a separate room for yoga and stretching. The hotel is located next to the City Hall subway and the Deoksugung Palace; there are many places to eat nearby. It’s a fine place to stay while you are in Seoul.

Enjoyed our stay there. Great location with 24 hours convenient store 'Nice to C U' just right downstairs. Walking distance to City Hall station, Myeongdong and Gyeongbokgung.

Located in between City Hall subway station and Gwanghwamun subway station, easy stroll to two Seoul Metro lines. Airport Limousine Bus stop is right in front of the hotel entrance. Seoul City Bus tour start point is steps away from the hotel entrance. Walking distance to Deoksugung palace and Stone-wall Road, Cheonggyecheon stream, Citi Hall. Bedroom and bathroom interior is an antique type, well cleanliness. Bed linens is good and clean. A bit far from shopping centres.

Very nice hotel, and the staff speaks both English and Korean. The room was a bit warm, but it just started getting cold so that's understandable. Stayed here 3 times and it's great.

I will definitely come back again! 3/4 mins away from gwanghwamun and city hall station, airport bus stops right in front, super convenient, place was super clean as well, will def come back again
