The Norbreck Hotel

Read mixed reviews in this hotel it’s way out of Blackpool but bus stop and tram stop you can buy £6 ticket to use all day on tram and buses which is handy meals are buffet style and good we had 2for1 on drinks package but staff don’t like to serve you if using this package very unfriendly bar staff happy hour 6pm-9pm then bingo starts at 8pm-9pm which we don’t do kids running about all over while parents get drunk play bingo our table went flying drinks all over as kids were trying to hide underneath the table parents were not bothered we had to buy fresh drinks which is not cheap two white wine small glasses £9 for two illuminations was disappoin**ent few lights on lamp posts but lot people about hotel room was ok but everytime used shower leaked all over floor room was small but warm hotel needs decorating will definitely not be back in Blackpool again

Stayed here for a few days, great location and views. Great choice of breakfast, Cant think of any faults with the place, just what you would expect View is the main positive about the hotel would stay again

In October 2022 we booked to stsy in July 2023. Yesterdsy (25 March 2022) we received a message to say that our stay was cancelled with no explanation why. Very unprofessional and somewhere I would not recommend booking as totally unreliable.

We stayed overnight at The Norbreck after a long drive and we was setting off for Scotland the next morning. The hotel is a big building that is perched high up with a beautiful view of the sea. Firstly this is not a luxury hotel but i would definatly stay here again as it was so clean. There was not a speck of dust in our room. Top marks to housekeeping plus the bedding was lovely and clean too. We had a brilliant night's sleep too Some people may say the hotel is dated and needs to be modernised Not me i love traditional and think its fine as it is.. We ate our dinner in the hotel restaurant which i thoroughly enjoyed . One of the most best things was the staff, they were all so warm and welcoming. This is important to me when staying in hotels. So thankful to all the staff and next time we are in the area we will be staying here again.

Just stayed for a couple of nights in room 220. The view over the North Bay was stunning. The room was clean and tidy and big enough for us. The staff were pleasant and helpful, especially the lady behind the bar who was bubbly and pleasant even though she looked rushed off her feet. Bar prices were OK and although we didn't ear in the bar the food looked nice. Breakfast was great and as much as you could eat, the staff at breakfast were good and there was plenty of them on hand. All. In all we'll done we will be back. Tip book a parking space we did

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast, food was hot and tasty. Rooms were basic but had everything I needed. Great views from dining room window. Would happily stay there again.

Waiting time to check in was 45 minutes. Hotel cleanliness- not very good We just about got the wheelchair into the lift. Room - disgusting- smelt of smoke Would we go again - no chance Kids running up and down the corridor not taking any notice of people walking through

Norbreck Hotel ...had amazing bay views...hotel room warm and clean on arrival..with coffee and tea ready for you to enjoy..hotel staff very friendly and always ready to help...buffet style 3 course breakfast ...fried breakfast was cooked to high standard...bar for you to have a drink when ever you wish with amazing views from window...the castle ruin stands very close to hotel..you also have South bay a little walk away with lovely gardens ...evening meal was served lots of choice with starter ...always with a delious..desert...lovely walls all around...

Stayed in Scarborough many times but the first time we had stayed in the Norbreck. Got to say probably the best location and probably the best views of Scarborough from this Hotel either from your room or When having breakfast don’t think you would be disappointed. The Hotel itself however is in bad need of refurbishment with cracks in the ceilings and walls looking very tired and this is right through the hotel. The furniture through out the hotel looks pretty new. The rooms are generally tidy but as I said before could do with modernising especially the flooring (Very Creaky) carpets are quite dirty also . The plumbing needs looking at the room we were staying we could here the sound of water rushing through the pipes when another room was using there showers etc This makes it quite noisy from around 6am. Best part about the Norbreck is the breakfast buffy which is fantastic and also the staff who are very Friendly. Can’t comment on Evening meals as we went elsewhere. I would probably stay again in the future just for the breakfast and views but hope it gets the refurb it needs.
