Big4 Sawtell Beach Holiday Park

Great place to stay so central to everything.We found our 3night stay in our villa very comfortable,but would have liked a BBQ on the deck rather than having to go to a camp kitchen.We also have a camper trailer & will definitely return & book an ensuite site to try it out.

Sawtell is a wonderful seaside village that is a great holiday destination. The caravan park is centrally located with an easy walk to the Main Street, Creek/ estuary swimming and fishing. Park is leafy , lots of green space and mostly flat sites:

An exceptional park that is close to the village. Fabulous staff and easy walk to the beach. We have stayed here a few times and love how quiet it is as well as the no pets allowed policy. The park is clean and well maintained by the staff. We will continue to return to Sawtell Big4 as our go to caravan park.

Lovely spacious park in a lovely location. Park is in easy walking distance to Sawtell for shopping, cafes and restaurants. Friendly helpful staff, . The park and amenities are regularly maintained and it a very relaxing place to holiday.

We have just spent 8 days in this fantastic park and I can't fault it, we have just purchased a new to us van and wanted to test it out before Christmas and chose Sawtell only an hour from where we life, with a day free for staying for 7 days and then an additional day at a reduced rate made the 8 days very reasonable for a beach side park and we will be back in the new year I'm sure

Last minute stop en route and we were given an artificial grass site in a quiet cul de sac. Great camp site, really large area. Artificial grass means no sand tracking into the van. Super quiet. I can recommend site 21 or around there as a large caravan site, however, one would be able to get shade if you go to the “treed” sites as 21 did not have shade, .

Excellent family friendly site. Staff are very welcoming and the grounds and facilities are clean and very well taken care off. It is a short stroll down to the river for a safe swim for younger children and an easy walk across the river (waist deep on low tide) to the surf beach for those chasing a bit more adventure. Lots to see and do nearby but no need to get in the car if you're into the beach. Great snorkeling in the area as well.

A very good experience. Friendly staff, clean, modern and comfortable villa. No accommodation is cheap in Sawtell but our caravan park stay represented reasonable value for money. Close to golf, the beach and good restaurants. Other activities are available. Found the check in well organised and easy with very well kept grounds.

We have returned here for the last few years. The sites where the ES are just perfect for us. We love ES7 the best but couldn’t complain about ES11 recently. The grounds are delightful,grassy, spacious and well maintained. We love that you can walk to all that Sawtell had to offer with restaurants, boutique shops, small cinema etc. it’s a lovely 10min stroll away. It’s a little further to the beach but we make use i Of the council pool which is very handy within the park grounds. The walks around the park are peaceful and people are cheery and friendly. The main camp kitchen is huge, only about 5 yrs old I believe - plenty of seating, a large TV and a comfortable lounge area. I think the Camp Kitchen just needs a bit of TLC as a few little things spring to mind that would make it a bit more enjoyable for us personally. Overall, we really enjoy the times we stay here and it feels very familiar to us now. Love that you can relax and listen to the kookaburras singing. Well done.
