Six Senses Kocatas Mansions

Otel odası güzel olmakla beraber tanıtım fotoğraflarından farklıydı. Örneğin fotoğraflarda küvet var gözüküyordu ancak bildiğin duşakabin sistemi alelade bir duşla karşılaştık. Banyoda sıcak suyla ilgili randıman zayıf. Fiyat kalite endeksiyle kıyaslarsak oda fiyatı oldukça pahalı. Scalini restaurant yemek/kalite/fiyat endeksi açısından başarılı…

Very nice property and beautifully designed. A stunning remodel of waterfront mansions. The service was not quite what one would expect from a six senses property and predominantly seem to be run by a very young and possibly inexperienced staff. Because I was here during April a couple of the restaurants were closed unfortunately. There are five venues in the hotel however I was only able to have lunch in a small café on my arrival?? Did have a great dinner at the Spanish restaurant. The layout of the property is a bit deceiving online per the photos and maps as the grass and spa area are quite a ways away from the main buildings up at the top of the hill and require a buggy ride but once there a lovely spot with great views. The manager was open to hearing some criticisms regarding staff and service. Hopefully they can work on their service prior to the busy travel period of the year.

The hospitality here was incredible. We’ve never felt more welcome and taken care of! Seyma and Eylol were especially kind and helpful. The place is stunning and the spa was amazing. The grounds are gorgeous and so fun to walk around and explore. We had our 8 year old son with us…and while I imagine this is more a couples or adult spot…he loved it and we didn’t feel out of place with him. Again…the hospitality was top notch!

I was recommended this hotel from some friends that had recently stayed here and we had one of the best hotel experiences ever . This hotel is top class with great service and ultra friendly all round helpful staff . It’s important for us as a family to work out in the morning and we want a modern fully equipped gym , this hotel provided that , two separate gyms on different levels providing all different aspects of trading equipment. We always had a young man called Demir who looked after us, constantly providing towels and complimentary water who would then go on to set us up at the pool so my wife could do her hours swim . The dining at the hotel is reasonably priced , great choices of dining. Sariyer is a beautiful area with a harbour a 5 minute walk away with shops and bars and fish restaurants there plenty to do and see . Istanbul centre is a short 10/15 minute drive away , very easy to get in and out of . The most famous shopping centre in Istanbul, Istinye Park with all the top designer shops, trendy restaurants is actually very near the hotel so that kept my wife happy . Sultanahmet we’re all the mosques, tourist sites is the other side of Istanbul but trust me one afternoon that area your happy to get away from it , go very early morning is my tip before the crowds . I have to say a big thank you to Ece one of the managers and Aykut the reservation manager , brilliant they were as were all the staff . I’d love to return this hotel and thoroughly recommend it.

Perfect view, service and an authentic atmosphere in an old mansion. The spa and pool is an experience to try with a great view. The hotel also has a kids area and an outdoor park and an infinity pool. It is a bit out of the town which is also good if you want to relax. Lots of good restaurants to try. Overall a very good experience.

Didnt get a full experience to give the property a fair review as it was a one night trial, but to me service was a 4 rating overall and the let down was value for money. For a standard room to charge $700 a night then be given a ground floor room next to the stairs with no view to anything - when the hotel is not near full occupancy - does not make any sense. I hardly saw 5 guests during the day or for breakfast, nor are there many staff in hotel overall, but that was that. Rooms are nicely designed, pool is underwhelming, the area and location is far from the tourist friendly spots of Istanbul. So in high season I don’t think pricing made sense versus the competition facing bosphoros.

What an amazing week in a magical part of the Maldivian paradise. It had been a dream of ours to visit the Maldives and our stay at Six Senses exceeded all expectations - this is largely due to the exceptional care we received from our GEM Tanny. From our initial arrival to recent departure Tanny ensured our days and nights were filled with memorable activities and exceptional service from all the staff. Warm, kind and hugely knowledgeable, it was fascinating to talk to Tanny each day - thank you. There is so much to say about this holiday… the sea plane transfer from Male to Laamu was spectacular; Six Senses resort and water villas stunningly beautiful; incredible sea life on the house reef and sea grass meadows, exceptional restaurants and a jam packed programme of activities, on water and land - whatever the weather. We particularly enjoyed the yoga and spa workshops; Teppenyaki dining expereience, in addition to the Maldivian cookery class and chocolate workshops with resort Head Chefs. But what really distinguishes Six Senses is it’s commitment to sustainability and protecting the environment. The new Shell centre with its team of marine biologists and laboratories is absolutely fascinating- we really enjoyed the talks and exploring reefs with such passionate and dedicated staff. Learning how the restaurants are growing many of the ingredients used in our delicious meals - even grinding spices for curries and cocoa beans to make delicious chocolates- it’s seriously impressive… We also must mention the fact that the resort philosophy is to walk bare foot - which is only made possible by the team of ladies who sweep away leaves and foliage every morning (I noticed you on my many morning runs) and the gentlemen who regularly smooth over the paths with fresh sand… THANKYOU! So we leave for home totally rejuvenated. We didn’t manage to do everything in one week so I guess we may have to return again…

Böyle bir Six Senses deneyimini dünyanin hicbir yerinde yasamadik! Saatlerce sogukta bekledik, ailecek hasta olduk. Personel bastan sona kaba, saygisiz. Ortam desen asiri suni. Altindan kalkilamayacaksa böyle bir işe girilmemeli , prestij kaybindan başka bir sey degil!

Excellent Hotel in a nice location! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially the Spa area is fantastic with a great offer of different treatments. The team there is very good and it is a nice atmosphere. I can definitely recommend this place
