Sapporo Grand Hotel

We stayed 2 nights and it is located nearby JR station. The room is quite spacious. We had our breakfast at 2 different restaurants. Both restaurants provided delicious western and Japanese buffet breakfast. Northern Terrace Diner offers more on western food whereas Big Jug offers more on Japanese food.

One of the most exceptional stays we had in Hokkaido! The location was great, and I enjoyed the mini bar that provides both tea and coffee. I don’t drink coffee so the tea options are wonderful! Room is very clean and all the staff provided great service! I could also enjoy a nice bath in the room.

Good location and easy access to major shopping streets within 10 to 15 mins

A renowned 5 ⭐️ hotel conveniently connected to the Sapporo JR station within 10 mins straight stroll. The Daimaru shopping mall 🛒🛍️ is situated right above for tax free retail shopping. The hotel looked 👀 grand & posh, & bit pricey, probably because it coincided with the Sapporo Snow & Ice Festival ⛄️❄️🧊 which is within short walk to Odori Park. With special access to the Club floor privileges, we enjoyed additional pampering F&B indulgence 🍷🧀🦐 . The hotel room is big & spacious but the overall facilities & decor are a bit nostalgic. The service is good👌 Sadly not much nightlife in this area, in comparison to Susukino area which comes to life @ night with more oishi eateries & great shopping 🛒 🛍️

Excellent!!! We are glad to have stayed for 5 evenings in this marvellous SAPPORO GRAND HOTEL! It is a very well kept and conserved historical building. Every detail is meticulously made to ensure Hotel Guests are pampered for the best hospitality experience! The room is spacious and the amenities provided are so mindful of guests' comfort and enjoyment! Convenient location & easy access to Sapporo JR Station and Great underpass to link all key attractions and shopping malls! Rain or Shine, and not even Snowstorm could stop us from going places to places!

Everything about the stay was amazing, the location is pretty central, in between Sapporo Station and also Odori Park, Tsunokikoji, Susukino. There was also ample space in the room and the bed was so comfortable! There’s a 7-11 and Lawson nearby as well.

Excellent location and staff were very friendly.  Rooms were great and comfortable to sleep in.  Highly recommend this place for any visitors to sapporo.  The location is convenient to visit major dept stores and JR station, all within walking distance. 

When I requested an upgrade for more spacious rooms, the receptionist named **offered me the expensive choices with executive rooms and charged me without discounts. But I found there were plenty of rooms on line and asked them to do something, another man replied rudely, “we can do nothing to help you”. Luckily later after we returned from dinner I went to the reception again a third man learned the story and gave a solution. He canceled the previous upgrade order and downgraded my family to almost the same rooms but one floor down. Rooms were as spacious as the executive rooms and the only difference was the lounge availability. So if you would have a similar experience, try to talk to another person. Some are not considerate for customers while others do

The location is superb, with direct underground connections to two stations. The service is excellent, and the winter view from the hotel room is truly unforgettable. Breakfast is delicious, and the milk is the best I’ve ever had!
