Sapporo View Hotel Odori Park

Good location to major sightseeing venues and dining options. Very central. There is also luggage storage area provided before check-in or after check-out. This is very convenient.

Great location and nice hotel next to the park. Nearby train stations and public events held at Odori park. Attended the lilac food event with lots of good food stalls.

nice hotel, nice location, the biggest room hotel i ever stay in japan, great service, there is tea time every afternoon with lot of snack selection, one of my best hotel in japan so far

The Hotel location is about 7 mins walk to Odori Station Exit 1. The 'Streetcar' station was about 3 mins walk from the hotel. Super convenient. Walking distance to underground shopping mall. The hotel room was spacious about 28 sqm in view that most hotel in Japan is quite small. The breakfast spread was superb. Best in Sapporo. The hotel was very generous to provide FREE Hokkaido snacks with hot and cold drinks at Lounge Area from 3 pm to 9pm. Overrall our stay was excellent.

During check-in, the front desk staff asked me to provide a photocopy of my passport. I explained clearly that I have a residence in Japan and that I did not want my passport to be photocopied. I also asked several times whether there was another way to verify my identity and complete the check-in process. However, the front desk staff was extremely condescending throughout the conversation and did not seem willing to properly listen to what I was saying. Even after I explained my situation several times, he simply kept repeating the same request and insisted that “this is required by law,” then told me to “look it up myself.” I understand that a hotel may have its own check-in procedures. However, if something is claimed to be “required by law,” I believe the hotel should be able to clearly explain which law or specific legal requirement it is based on, rather than simply repeating the statement. The most unpleasant part of this experience was not the procedure itself, but the condescending attitude and the fact that my questions were repeatedly ignored while the same statement was simply repeated. The way the front desk staff communicated with a guest was extremely disappointing.

Nice and clean. The breakfast was good. The room is big compared with other hotels.Check in was fast.A little far from train station needed a taxi ride .

good location. spacious area. good service. free lounge and the food is good and delicious.

The hotel was very nice. We got the corner rooms (208-209) and they had nothing to complain about. Spacious than most standard rooms in Japan. Our room has sofa and a table. Separate toilet, washing basin zone, and the shower room has a bathtub and a shower head separately. (I don't like thw combination one so i purposely chose this type of room) The cleanliness was superb, you can put the card on the bed and the sticker at the door to sign them to help clean the room and change the bed sheet. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, robes, air humidifier, kettler, few glasses and mugs, air freshener spray, slippers, laundry bag (for laundry service). Staff were nice, breakfast buffet was great (no need to book in advance, can pay upfront) The closest stations are the Tozai Line (orange): Nishi juitchome and the Namboku, Toho, Tozai Line: Odori station.

Located right by Odori Park with nice scenery. near Susukino but tranquil at night. Good service overall.
