The area is quite and nice and just 20 minutes walk to the crowds

De foto's zijn erg misleidend. Ruim appartement, erg donker en erg vochtig. Alleen op verzoek schoonmaken, handdoeken kwamen geel terug en stinken, ze zagen eruit alsof ze gewoon hingen. Niets te maken met een suite. Deur en ramen die uitkijken op de receptie en iedereen kijkt naar binnen. Het voelde als een vakantie in een oude kelder. Een gebied vol afval, overal honden- en kattenpoep... Niet voor herhaling vatbaar!!

Het hotel is prachtig. De directeur is attent en aangepast aan al onze verzoeken. Het uitzicht is adembenemend over de Egeïsche Zee. Het dorp Finikia is rustig, waardoor u een echt moment van ontspanning kunt beleven. Het dorp Oia ligt op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het hotel. Ik kan dit hotel ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die een geweldige vakantie op het eiland Santorini wil hebben.

Het hotel is correct en een goede optie in Santorini. Zonder duur te zijn, biedt het u een goede ervaring voor uw verblijf. De kamers zijn een soort uitgegraven grot, zeer goed verlicht, groot en lijken op mini-appartementen, dus je hebt een mini-keuken voor het geval je daar eten wilt meenemen. Het heeft een oppervlakte als woonkamer met een bank, tv, hoge en lage tafel, enz. Het is dus behoorlijk groot. De foto's zijn een weerspiegeling van de werkelijkheid, we zaten in een van de suites die op hun website staat en het is precies hetzelfde. Natuurlijk hebben niet alle kamers een privézwembad, maar dat vermelden ze ook niet in hun advertenties. Het ontbijt wordt op uw kamer bezorgd op het moment dat u het receptiepersoneel ontmoet. Het is een dienblad met roerei, fruitsalade (erg lekker), sinaasappelsap, toast, boter en jam. Ze zetten geen koffie omdat je in de keuken van de suite al een koffiezetapparaat tot je beschikking hebt met koffiefilters etc. Het ligt in een stad naast Oía, dus het duurt 10 minuten om het toeristische gebied van Oía te bereiken. Prachtige omgeving, veel meer dan Fira (of wij vonden het in ieder geval leuker). Zeer attent personeel. Als je in de buurt aankomt, wachten ze tot je de vervelende dingen naar je kamer brengt, maar je moet ze dit wel even laten weten. Als u het ze niet laat weten, moet u steile geplaveide straatjes naar de receptie lopen, dus het is de moeite waard om te doen. De taxi, bus, enz. Je kunt het hotel niet bereiken, je kunt er alleen te voet komen. Wanneer u vertrekt, begeleiden zij u ook om uw koffers in te nemen. Zeer attent personeel. Ze gaven ons de kamer om 9 uur 's ochtends zonder waarschuwing dat we eerder zouden aankomen. We hebben onze koffers bij de receptie achtergelaten op de dag dat we vertrokken om zeker te zijn van ons bezoek aan Santorini, omdat je uiterlijk om 11.00 uur moet uitchecken. Ze dachten ook dat we wat spullen op het terras hadden laten liggen en hebben het opgehaald om het aan ons te geven. U kunt genieten van een charmant hotel zonder de buitensporige prijzen te betalen die andere hotels vragen, waardoor u ook minder voordelen krijgt. Voor ons was het een heel goede ervaring.

Ok so be prepared for some uphill walking to get from the drop off/parking area to the hotel. However the porter met us off our bus and helped with the bags. The pros were the lovely views beIng up high, the quiet location meant it was slightly cheaper then staying right in Oia which was a nice 15ish min walk from the parking area and the breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning at our requested time and was lovely. When we arrived we were a little disappointed as the terrace didn’t look as nice as the photos, the whirlpool was tiny considering there were 3 of us and the loungers had no cushions so were hard wood. The room itself was nice although there were quite a few ants coming in which wasn’t the nicest experience for me as I was the one sleeping downstairs and kept finding them. We wanted late checkout which we were willing to pay for. The manager seemed a little insincere with his attempted effort to find any where for us to go after check out and said there was nothing available however we could see on *********** that there were still rooms available. He did however allow us to rest in his office AC for a while till our bus came so its not all bad! Overall Id say its a good choice for a nice stay near Oia however given it was advertised as a honeymoon suite I would not recommend it for this purpose given the fragile bed upstairs.

We absolutely loved Finikia. We stayed in a grand suite and the layout was beautiful, the shower pressure was great, all of the staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was the perfect treat to start the day. It would have been nice if the jacuzzi was heated, this limited our use of it as we were out most days when it was hot, but would have been nice to enjoy on the chillier evenings. But the view was beautiful! Overall, we had a great stay, and made some beautiful memories. Thank you, Tony! Sidenote, the tavern up the road has a beautiful courtyard with great live music by the owner, and nice house wine (to the car park, left turn, straight up the hill on the left).

What a fabulous little place, we were treated like friends, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was served to our room with a lovely selection of bread , pastries, jam, yogurt and honey. Our jacuzzi looked out over the beautiful little settlement of Finikia, an amazing ancient place built into the hills. There was plentiful of delicious places to eat and drink

We informed Harry of our arrival by taxi so we were met by a man who wheeled our suitcases to our room with us. Trailfinders found these suites for us so one knows that they must be excellent. I hadn't realised immediately that they were cave suites because I didn't know that Finikia had them. The prices in Oia are outrageous, The short walk to Oia was perfectly fine. Our Premier suite with the dark blue bathroom was wonderful. Everything worked, Harry was so helpful and we loved our 3 night stay. It was my favourite place we stayed in out of 3 bookings, 2 in 4 star hotels, the other two being in Perissa and Pyrgos (we love Pyrgos). Apparently a jetted tub is not the same as a hot tub. We didn't have a tub which was fine as far as I am concerned. The breakfast which was brought to us in our room every morning at the time we had requested was also excellent, punctual and the eggs (omelette, scrambled, fried etc.) were hot. There are 3 restaurants in Finikia so we were able to try each one out. Our meal at Krinaki was far and away better than the other two restaurants and also considerably cheaper! Finikia is a traditional village and much more peaceful than Oia being completely pedestrianized. Thank you so much Harry. My husband and I stayed in the Honeymoon suite with the outdoor private jetted tub. Fava eco suites is located in Finnikia- It was the perfect location to stay! It is nice and quiet, with a couple of restaurants nearby (not many), but only a 10 minute or less walk to the more busy/touristy town of Oia. The bus stop is about a 5-10 minute walk as well. We bussed to Fira a couple of the days we were there- super easy to figure out transportation and the buses are very cheap (about 2 euros). It said welcome gift upon arrival, but we didn't get anything- which was fine! The place was very clean and it had 2 outdoor patio areas. One with the jetted tub and one upstairs with an AMAZING VIEW on the balcony. Breakfast was brought to your room every morning. Air conditioning worked well. The cold tub was super nice to cool off in since we were there in June. Overall we had a wonderful experience! I highly recommend it!
