Sandy's Paradise Resort

Super resort! Location is quiet and peaceful with spectacular views of the monastery and chapel on the mountain behind. The pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs. The rooms are very clean and attractive with modern remote controlled AC to keep cool and a large TV (which we didn’t use). It’s only a short stroll into the town to visit Dorians pub for a few drinks, and not a few minutes more to the black sandy beach. There are loads of nice restaurants nearby but Sandys is just far enough away that you’re not bothered by the traffic or noisy bikes/quads that everyone drives now. Breakfast is basic but nice quality and we enjoyed it every morning. Staff are so nice and welcoming with big smiles and greetings every time. We’re going home today but are already thinking of booking here again for next year.

Had a 2 week stay here, this was our second holiday to Santorini and staying in Perissa so was very familiar with the area already. A lovely area and only a 10/15 minute walk to the beach depending on how fast you walk can be even quicker. Staff were very friendly and helpful, when asking advice to get to somewhere they were really helpful about bus’s and where to get off and on at. The room was lovely and clean, it was cleaned daily and bed sheets were changed every other day. Fresh towels were also changed every other day. Pool towels were provided by the hotel which was great.We stayed in room 11 (2nd floor) our balcony looked out of the side of the hotel with a Mountain View and a lovely sunset every evening which I loved as a person who enjoys sunsets. Air conditioning was great, the WIFI had a really good connection and breakfast was nice, lots to choose from at first but it is literally the same everyday nothing new or different at all. The TV only had four news channel stations and that was it so I was thankful to have my iPad with Netflix as I had a day in bed due to not feeling well. The pool area was lovely and spacious, the bar was easy to use to order food and drinks. The sun beds were comfy but got claimed quick and early! although there is a sign about not placing towels on a sun bed to claim one lots of people done it anyway at breakfast and then would not even be sat or laid out for ages and nothing was said. Overall we had a lovely two week stay at Sandy’s.

Recently returned from Sandys Paradise. This place is a hidden gem. The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. The whole resort is very clean and the pool area is lovely. We had a fantastic time at this resort and it's a great place if you want peace and quiet, which we did. I would definitely recommend.

This is a very nice hotel with all the good things included in the package. They have good staff and clean beds as well. I personally felt very comfortable here especially after i tried the pool.It was very nice and cozy! I would come again if I have the opportunity.

We came to Santorini looking for a much needed break and Sandys delivered exactly that. Our room was modern and clean and the resort is just a few minutes walk from the town & beach meaning you can reach everything easily but also be away from the busyness when relaxing by the pool. Loads of lovely restaurants in the local area - Hellas was a great find. Also very easy to get the bus to Fira & Oia for a day out. Bus was €2.50 per journey. Some people complained about this resort - they clearly didn’t want peaceful and relaxing and so picked the wrong place. I’m sure there are plenty of noisy and busy resorts on the island to choose from. Thank you so much to wonderful Kiki for her amazing hospitality, it was a real pleasure to meet you!!

We really enjoyed our stay at sandys. We had a lovely warm welcome from Kiki on arrival. She couldn't do enough for us. The room we stayed in was spotless, with a towel change and cleaned everyday. The hotel and pool area are lovely. There's a small bar with a snack menu available. There's beautiful views of the mountains with a short walk down to bakery or dorians bar. The beach isn't far away either. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Kiki and family for a wonderful holiday ❤️ kayley and lynsey

Right let’s get this straight this hotel/resort is NOT 4 star,how it’s even being allowed to advertise as such is frankly ridiculous it’s a two star at best I mean it doesn’t even have a proper reception! Rooms are very basic and drab and unless you’re lucky and have a room in the right part of the hotel aren’t cleaned before 4 or 5pm which in all honesty is a bit of an inconvenience a couple of times we just politely told the cleaning couple not to worry,the times it was cleaned our linen wasn’t changed anyway. The pool area is ok at best and as some have mentioned the beds and cabanas are filthy,you don’t get pool towels supplied (again never known a 4 star not to) so we had to use our room towels,the bar prices can vary according to mood but she was changing 4€ for a can of coke/fanta daylight robbery imho. We didn’t try any of the food from the bar as we’d been warned by other guests not to as it was overpriced and not very good. When you “check in” the woman who owns the place tries to get you to buy a six pack of waters for 6€ which is another rip off as 200 meters away there’s a supermarket where the same costs 2€. Be warned she will also try and short change you whenever she can…”sorry I don’t have x y z euros change” The breakfast quite frankly is a joke and that’s being kind, you’re better off having a 10min walk into Perissa to the 24hr bakery and having a fresh pastry and cappuccino so much better. I’ve seen some reviews saying the location is good hmmmm not to sure about that,be aware the area around it is a bit of a fly tipping paradise so be prepared to walk past loads of dumped rubbish on your way into town. Needless to say I wouldn’t ever go there again nor would I recommend anyone else to either.

Another fantastic stay on Sandy’s don’t listen to reviews honestly don’t understand all the hate you get wat u pay for if u want 5 star then pay for it we all chose her For one Reason she’s one of the cheapest on island I like sandy I like the rooms Amd Pool area

Breakfast horrible, simple. Juices watered down. Nobody drinks them. Towels very old, good for exfoliating. Not suitable for disabled people. In the middle of nowhere. Closest beach 4 km or so You need a rent a car to move around. Closest restaurant 4km or so. Room downstairs very dark and dingy, full of ants. Pictures on the website not up to date. Reviews on thus website disappeared. I booked it with 31 reviews ,today 1 review only.
