AzuLine Apartamentos Can Sanso

Everything was good but there was no free parking.

We have just returned from a lovely 11 night stay at Azuline Can Sanso in Santa Eulària. We have 2 children 15 and 18. I felt the need to post a review as it was such a mixed bag of reviews before we went with a lot of negative comments. Upon arrival we had an issue with our room, not being entirely what we booked. The second bedroom not being enclosed, beds not big enough, nor private enough with being open and no door. That being said the staff team on reception were quick to sort us an alternative room which was much better. Something to consider these apartments have no lift with 3 floors. We managed but not the easiest carrying 4 suitcases up 6 flights of steps. The rooms are cleaned every 2 days with fresh beds and towels. The air con was really good and much needed in the 30° heat. The pool bar is great we enjoyed breakfasts and a few evening drinks. The pool itself is clean although could do with a little TLC. Something to be mindful of, especially with young children is the floor surrounding the pool gets extremely hot, unbearable to walk on in bare feet. We also found a lot of the sun beds really worn, dated and uncomfortable and felt there weren't enough parasols. You can hire pool towels which was great on our last day as it meant we weren't taking home wet towels. The staff are all friendly and do their best to accommodate and help where needed. They were helpful in ordering taxis before we discovered the taxi click app (which is good and easy to use) they also rang a waterpark that we were considering going to but struggled to book online. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. There are 2 supermarkets within walking distance. The harbour is about a 15 minute walk where there are some lovely restaurants. We did find Santa Eulària quiet and not really enough going on for us. We found ourselves catching the bus into Es Cana a few evenings which we found more lively and enjoyed the vibe. The regulated taxi service and buses were easy to use and reasonably priced. Some gorgeous beaches! Our favourite was Cala Llonga. Overall we had a great holiday.

Great stay! Perfect location near the beach, clean rooms, and a lovely pool bar with very friendly staff.

We spent a week here and loved it. We had 3 kids with us, age 6,9&10 and they loved it too. Apartment was spacious and very clean, we needed to use the fold out sofa bed, which was very comfy. Towels changed regularly and staff super helpful when needing car hire just for the day. My only niggle was the noise from the apartment above us in the early hours. So don’t forget your ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper! Perfect location for beach and town, accessible bus routes too!

There was an awful smell of sewerage in and around apartments, they weren't central to Santa Eulalia, we ended up getting buses and taxis every day, there was only 1 member of staff who could speak British and answer our questions, she was lovely, I would never go there again, having said that, the apartments and pool area were nice, we had to walk quite a way with suitcases to get there as bus doesn't drop you off or pick you up at apartments, probably as the road is too narrow, you have to find your own entertainment at night, as there was nothing to do, hence we spent every night getting taxis into Santa Eulalia, which is lovely, I would definitely go to Santa Eulalia again, but in a much more central location to it.
