Person at front desk wasn't there when we arrived and when she finally did show up she appeared strung out and scatter brained. We were finally shown to our penthouse and it was disgusting the toilet wouldn't flush all the way the shower was rusty and disgusting the tun had hair in it. We paid 1000$ for 3 nights but decided to not even try and stay the 1 night. They wouldn't refund our money even though the room clearly didn't match the description or pictures on trip.coms site. At this point we feel like we should take them to small claims court because we feel scammed

I am not one to leave reviews good or bad but there were some things that were unsettling. I guess if you visit in the offseason you don't get anyone onsite. Someone broke into our room at 4am because our windows didn't lock. Straight up put his head into our room from the window. Of course we couldn't get a hold of anyone to make sure this dude doesn't continue his noisy exploration of the property because there is no one on site. Front desk moved us the next morning to another hotel under same management but would not comp our terrible night. As much as I wanted to like this place, I would not stay again.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Great location with many things to look at. The room we had was spacious and all were very unique. The entire place was very unique and beautiful to see. The complimentary breakfast and snacks/wine were delicious.

OK place. Quiet. Two criticisms: 1) I arrived at 3:30. No one at reception and there was a line. I waited until 3:50, left, came back around 4:20 and receptionist was back.Check in OK after that. 2) Breakfast area very crowded.

hello. room stay is antique experience, which is fine with me. unfortunately there was no remote for TV & no receptionist to call after 9 p.m.

Location of property is great. Room was dirty when we were issued room. There was one lady working desk. She was doing everything she could to make things work but seemed a bit overwhelmed. She worked to give us a new room. Older facility. Needs a fresh overhaul. Still has a very run down motel feel with a wanna be boutique style. Continental breakfast was running late. Same lady was handling everything from day before. Came about 10 minutes prior to serving time and was rushing to get items placed out and simultaneously checking out customers. Can't blame the lady, poor ownership on this place.
