Coral Star Apartments

Hotel - communal areas were always clean, as was the hotel room and sheets/towels, but the apar**ent floor was dirty. Breakfast was basic, and not a 'full english' as advertised. Pool area was fine but very cramped. Safe is available at a cost. They offer a late checkout service or you can leave your cases in a room and use shower room before you fly, you need to book a timeslot for this which we were not aware of, the receptionist was offhand with us but did squeeze us in. Location - on a very noisy and busy street (loud at night), its in a run-down and neglected area. 45 minute walk to San Antonio. There's some bars/restaurants within 5 mins walk. A nice 'reggae' beach is 15 mins walk. Good bus routes nearby to Ibiza town/San Antonio/airport, all ranging from €2.55-5. Cleaners - we had an issue with various bathroom products being 'taken' - this included a razor, face wash, moisturiser, 2 x bars of soap - we replaced 1 after it was taken then the new one was taken the day after. We tried to complain but I don't think the receptionist understood. This hotel covers the basics, it attracts a mix of families and those there for the club scene. The location and cleaner situation would put us off returning.

I am in my 60's and took my Daughter and granddaughter aged 7. We stayed in the apar**ent side and had a view of the pools. The room was just right. Cleaned daily with new sheets and towels. Kettle, microwave,toaster and full fridge with freezer was a great thing to have. The food was good and plentiful. Got busy around the pools so had to put down our own towels early. Not supplied by Coral so bring your own. Lots of lifeguard folk about and lots for kids to do around the pool. The evening entertainment was dreadful. Same German rubbish each night done by unenergetic bored entertainment girls. Just spoilt it and could be great instead of only 10 people attending only because it was there. Please get rid of it and do something English as that is the only people on holiday and some quiz for adults would help

Very basic, boring hotel. Nothing going on..... never spent a night at hotel as very drab! Carpets in all hallways,very unhygienic!! Only one bar left open from 5pm so if any quiet time wanted it's ro be had in the very basic room you sleep in!!

Arrived at 12 and no queue to check in. 50 min transfer. We were one of the last hotels. Room was on apar**ent side by the road. Studio was a good size for 3 people. Clean and today. Bathroom very modern with bidet and decent shower. Location of room was awful. Right next to a building site behind the hotel which was noisy all day. Not a problem if sitting by the pool but could still be heard. Jet2 should've noted this at booking. The issue with the rooms on the road side is the windows do nothing to stop the noise. The bar accross the road was loud until 2am. The bus and mopeds are very loud and then at 5am council workers were leaf blowing the street. Sounded like a plane taking off. We were offered a room change on the pool side which will be more suitable for light sleepers. Our room was cleaned on the 3rd day when was at the pool. We came back to find our door had been left wide open! Cleaners do a good job though and fresh towels were supplied regularly. We was all inclusive and never had to queue for food. Plenty of tables and loads of staff who would take away your finished plate without you noticing. Food was decent. Loads of choice Something for everyone. The fajitas were incredible. As was the chilli and beef options. Deserts were pretty basic. Loads of restaurants and shops on the hotels doorstep if you went self catering though. Bar staff are excellent. Very friendly and no queue at all. Cup system works well. New cup for every drink. Beer included was San Miguel which was always cold and bubbly. Cocktails were from a machine so not that great. The woman on the snack bar was so miserable. Felt like everything was an inconvenience for her. The snack bar food was garbage apart from the chips and pizza. The burgers are sloppy and hotdogs awful and cold. Evening entertainment was very basic. Few games and a disco. It was empty though so wasnt expecting a full show. Shame it all closes at 11. Especially as the bar accross the road is lively until late. Pool is very cold but refreshing. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols. Its kept spotlessly clean. The life guards are excellent. A decent 2/3 star hotel that is well kept with mostly friendly staff and a decent all inclusive option. We would return in low season again but with a pool side room.

Lovely hotel, clean, nice food and a great location. Lovely, kind and helpful staff. We stayed for four nights and would definitely return again. It was easy to get to all the clubs and plenty of bars and restaurants near by

Staff great Pool area great Most meal choices was ok Fresh juice wasnt nice at all Room (appar**ent) with view of the pool was great only down fall was the entertainment on a night its was that loud i could hear the music and singer from second floor and the windows was shut lucky the singer sounded great. Great value for money but For the fact of the location i wont be returning.

Decided to book a cheap last minute holiday abroad after already being away earlier in the year. Still paid £600 each self catering for a week Pictures looked nice, clean and tidy and like a family hotel so thought why not The pictures jet 2 are advertising must of been took 20 years ago. The only clean parts of the hotel are the restaurant and the reception. The hotel rooms are OK, basic and clean. They showed us one when we complained but then advised they couldn’t move us as wasn’t available 🙈. The apar**ents are like a prison block and are completely at the end of their life. It doesn’t matter how much bleach you throw at a room (they smelt so strong of it) they are bleak and grubby. Our balcony door didn’t even have a mechanism to lock on the 3rd floor with a toddler I can’t comment on staff as we didn’t even stay. I took my daughter to a nearby hotel as we didn’t want to keep her there Took my little one to the pool whilst my partner was in reception trying to get us moved and noticed the state of the pool tiles whilst she was in the baby pool! At this point I left and went to a nearby hotel, other people had said their kids feet were cut to bits! The biggest problem for me was the pool area. It was GRUBBY! 3* or not it should look like the pictures advertised! Loads of missing pool tiles. Kids pool filthy. Crap knackered sun beds. Manky carpets in the corridors, broken tiles everywhere Black mould all behind the ‘splash park’ which they covered over with some sort of cement the day after we complained to jet 2 about the state of it. Which also ended up all in the pool. This hotel needs buying and completely revamping. Yes it’s a 3 star and we absolutely didn’t expect luxury or we wouldn’t of booked it, but be warned. This review is about honesty. We aren’t snobs, but what you see isn’t what you get and that’s a fact! It’s absolutely NOTHING like the pictures. Basic is an understatement Picures to prove it. I wouldn’t of even slummed it without my toddler

Love this hotel! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Clean & comfortable rooms. Good choice of food & drinks. Big shout outs to Alberto, Isabel, Rosa, Alex, Carlos, Maria, Gemma & Natalia, all fantastic. Looking forward to next year ❤️

Hotel ok would of liked a chair to sit on in room .brought chair off balcony in staff lovely and friendly.food wasn't to my taste .most things were spicy.would of liked eggs cooked fresh instead of taken out of a heater .bacon and sausage overcooked .I would go back but stay self catering
