Stic Urban Hotel & Spa

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 days, just home and thought I would leave a review as I had seen some less than ideal reviews online. Thankfully the hotel was amazing, extremely clean, really friendly and welcoming staff with no issues whatsoever. Would highly recommend as it’s right near the “west end” *****.

An absolutely fantastic stay. Super clean, friendly staff, rooms were spacious, bathrooms clean, spa was incredible. Super hospitable and helpful, would highly recommend and definitely would go back. A fantastic chilled long weekend. Massages were amazing too!

The shower was broken in my room and there were quite a few robberies during my stay. It appeared the hotel staff were not apologetic for this at all. I spoke with a couple that experienced the theft and they believed it was the staff. The guests even called the police against the hotel.

We stayed at Stic Urban for about a week. The rooms are modern and well equipped. Overall, the demanded over 150€ per night was clearly too high compared to the service provided by the hotel. In addition to minor inconveniences such as the temporary failure of the air conditioning or the potential for improvement in terms of cleanliness of cleaning, the advertised breakfast in particular seemed rather improvised and few organized. The last 3 days of our stay, the hot water in the entire hotel went out without the hotel finding an adequate solution. The hotel's accommodation was a simple coktail at the hotel bar. In the end, there was no further goodwill for the massive restrictions during the last days. Overall, the Stic urban is priced in the range of other 4 star hotels, still has a lot to learn in terms of service and customer orientation to really live up to this rating. We had the impression that the entire hotel still has to train for the upcoming season and we were the first test guests.

Wonderfully located, very central but not quite in the hustle bustle, which means is super relaxing and quiet. The place is very aesthetically pleasing, super modern, clean, minimalistic and it smells lovely! Rooms cleaned daily, the spa is a definite must for anyone who enjoys a bit of a pamper. Staff are polite and welcoming. We will be back next summer for a longer break if we can!

I think this is a good value option. New, spotless and everything you need. We used this as a place to crash for a night. It was perfect for that purpose. For a longer stay, I prefer something more historical and boutique-like whereas this place is modern and stark. Thats’s just personal taste though! Use of the spa for two hours in the morning was a welcome experience. Staff were lovely. The location is convenient.

I went with friends to use our Spa gift vouchers we had been given from another friend during summer. We entered, everything was lovely until our, what was suppose to be, relaxing spa experience was ruined by one of the staff members entering to say to us that two of our vouchers had already been used, which they certainly had not! The only valid reason for this error would be that the Spa and Hotel had given out the same Voucher number twice as we hadn’t even taken the Vouchers out of the envelope we received them in. This member of staff made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome which clearly ruined our relaxing spa night. We left shortly after due to this incident and I personally will not be back again. Very disappointed.

We have just spent a week at Urban Stic and totally fell in love with the place! The hotel itself is truly beautiful - decorated to perfection and the fresh scent and aircon when you walk into the hotel is addictive. Our room had the comfiest bed and amazing shower- a bathroom of dreams. The housekeeping team did a great job cleaning our room every day and replacing towels (even if we were asleep until the afternoon after being out all night - they still came back). The staff couldn’t do enough to help us and make our stay special. The hotel’s location is perfect for reaching San Antonio marina for boats, taxi rank, cafe mambo etc all within very close walking distance. We wish we went to the spa but didn’t find time - would definitely go back to try it. The hotel bar was extremely reasonably priced for drinks with a lovely garden area. All in all a perfect trip- thank you Stic! 💕
