verouderd hotel wat wel goed onderhouden word ,een gedeelte werd al gerenoveerd! Spijtig van de bouwwerf aan de achterkant van het gebouw .Vriendelijk personeel met een goede service . wij hadden half pension en dat was goed in orde .

Erg vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk uitgebreid eten, mooie kamers. Fijn dat je een Salzburgpas krijgt voor kortingen bij allerlei activiteiten. Lekker zwembad en fijne sauna. Goed advies over de omgeving.

de locatie van het hotel wordt op foto voorgesteld alsof het in een idyllische setting ligt ... niets van waar : midden in het centrum (niets mis mee) tegen bouwwerven en naast een winkelcomplex (op zich niets mee mis, maar niet zoals voorgesteld !) Onze badkamers was aan een moderne update nodig, rest was goed (frigo werkte niet naar behoren). Via RCI 75 euros extra kosten voor gebruik van utiliteiten (sport/zwembad/jacuzzi, enz. ) wat raar is. Boerka- en boerkiniverbod in gebruik in Oostenrijk in alle openbare plaatsen : waarom laat het hotel dan toelaat om een 18 m lang zwembad te laten gebruiken door Araabse mensen MET boerkini , is mij een compleet raadsel ? Geld misschien ? Radicalisme hoort niet in Oostenrijk (nergens trouwens), en mij een bepaald gedrag opleggen door muslims (omdat het hoort zeker bij hun cultuur) pakt niet bij mij. Dus, daarom ... vroeger teruggekeerd. Het krioelt trouwens van moslims in boerka in de streek (en wat met het verbod dan ??) die zich gedragen alsof ze superieur zijn aan niet-moslims. Receptie hotel begripvol, maar wat wordt er effectief aan gedaan ? Dank trouwens voor bepaalde aanpassingen. Nog 1 opmerking : 4,90€ voor een fles water bij halfpension is er ver over, duurder dan een halve liter bier

Mooie kamer, lekker ruim. Iets gedateerd. De ruime badkamer heeft een hoog bad, lastig voor ouderen om in en uit te stappen. De service van dit hotel is geweldig, je kon elke vraag stellen en kreeg overal antwoord op. Zwembad en sauna aanwezig. Restaurant is erg goed, erg leuk personeel en super in de bediening. Locatie van het hotel midden in St. Johann, perfect voor uitstapjes, station dichtbij (Salzburg, aan te raden om de trein te nemen).

We were very happy to find the place for the big family where the expectations of everyone were fulfilled . Our children were waiting for the swimming pool , my father - for the balcony , my mom - for the recreation area around the hotel, and for me was important to have a good food for the family. We took 2 rooms with additional sofa for kids. It was clean and well equipped with big wardrobes . One of the rooms was bigger and had more space . It was very nice when the sofa was folded and children had enough space to play. However it would be better to make family rooms with two separate rooms , especially wenn the price is so high. For one night we paid approximately 480€ (2 adults and 1 child). What else - it was great to seat in the evening in front of the fireplace playing chess or drinking tea. But it was unusual to find the kid’s room just in the near of reception on the ground floor . And it was not so tidy and attractive (only few pencils with paper, because my girls love drawing it was nothing for them to do there). All in all we were satisfied with our vacations because we were together with family and dog. And the food in restaurant was various every day. Thanks a lot for ladies on the reception who were very patient and friendly as well as for manager and waiters in the restaurant.

This is a great hotel, wonderful staff. Not too expensive at all, great value for money. Nothing is too much trouble, a lovely resort area, Fantastic management staff Superb food - great value for money - superb chef. brilliant bar staff - no crazy hotel prices either - also good for kids, families business the lot

On arrival, a pleasant greeting at reception. All the staff are very helpful and professional. Room was comfortable with a great view of the mountains. Food was very good and a wide selection. The hotel was very clean and tidy throughout. Ski room like the rest of the hotel is very good.

We were at Alpenland for 4 nights during the fall break and had a wonderful relaxing stay! Our room had a little kitchenette with a table day we were easily able to prepare snacks or lunch and the table gave us lots of space to play games. We had the half-board option and thoroughly enjoyed the many options at the breakfast buffet from fresh made omelettes and whole grain bread from a local bakery to fresh fruit and pancakes. The dinner menus always had so many good options we had trouble deciding! My personal favorite was the venison served with dumpling, red wine pear and cranberries! The hotel is located close to the city center and a mall, which offers lots of shopping possibilities close by. We also enjoyed the many hiking paths that start directly in St. Johann. For kids there are several play grounds and a great "motorik park" not far from the hotel. The pool and sauna area are also great! We left feeling very pampered and relaxed!
