"Quality Hosts Arlberg" Hotel Lux Alpinae

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were absolutely adorable! Sam, who is the breakfast organizer, gave us a perfect breakfast every day! She took us for a breakfast tour the first day, where she guided us through all the marvelous delicacies. The owner really cared about the guests. She even drove us to the ski lifts if we needed a ride. I have never experienced this high quality service from hotel staff before. I was really impressed! Thank you! We'll be back!

What a fantastic place! Beautifull designed every single part of the hotel, modern&lux. Cozy spa. Very good breakfast, exelent a’la carte, super nice waiters and absolutley fantastic owners. Hotel is dog friendly ♥️ Thank you for having us.

A nice and cozy hotel. Good size rooms. Staff and owners make you feel at home. Don’t miss Sam’s breakfast training 😀! Great uncomplicated dinner options at the restaurant. Good atmosphere at the bar with Barbaba and Massimo! Perfect Shuttle bus service to and from the slopes. !! Lift passes etc all taken care of at reception. Will definitely go back. !!!

Wonderful week here skiing with our family. A great refreshing change from stuffy corporate hotels - a family run , really friendly hotel with lovely clean rooms, happy helpful staff and a cool trendy vibe. Sam, max, Barbara and all the staff really made us welcome and we couldn’t fault the service including the free ski mini bus transfer 5 mins to the town

Lux Alpinae is a modern hotel around 1km outside of St Anton : perfectly walkable at night and the hotel has a shuttle bus in morning & afternoon to the main ski lift as well as a ski storage service in town. The breakfast buffet is superb and we had a good dinner as well. The bar is also good (Mojito excellent). Service was great with staff from Australia, UK, Italy, Austria and all great fun Rooms are large. Only downside is the road is noisy and so need windows shut which means the room gets very hot

This hotel was a fantastic choice for a ski holiday . The rooms are large clean with lovely bathroom and shower . The view was nice from our room over looking the mountains . Alex the owner was very friendly and helpful . The mini bus service from hotel down to the lifts was a great addition . The breakfast was the best I have experienced in a ski resort , with amazing choice and freshly cooked eggs anyway you want them . A big shout out to Sam and Maya who were our breakfast hosts , friendly , genuinely interested and great conversation . The bar staff Tom and Adriano were also very helpful and friendly . A nice sauna area to relax at the end of the day .

A boutique hotel with modern minimalist design, bohemian atmosphere and amazing staff. The food was excellent and the breakfast spread and hostess Sam start your day out perfectly. Just a short walk to the village and lifts. We loved it and will be back! Thank you all.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Lux Alpinae. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. It was fashionable and had a really large walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage. If you are a light sleeper (like me!) then take some earplugs as there is some minor road noise - but most people will not find it disturbing. I also loved how environmentally minded the hotel was. The breakfast was outstanding, with brilliant service from the Sam and Maya, and a fantastic choice of different food/drink options. We went for dinner in the restaurant 3 times during our stay because the food and hospitality was great - particularly Tom and Alex who were really happy to help! The Veggie Gyros is particularly delicious. It really felt like a home away from home! The walk into the center is not far at all - 10 mins at a slow pace. It is very easy - do not let it put you off. If anything, it was nice to not be bang in the centre because it was quite noisy by the lifts with all the Apres Ski bars. You can easily store your skis for free at the InterSport via the hotel. Also, the hotel staff run a shuttle to transfer to the resort if we wanted every morning and afternoon. It was a seamless set-up. The spa facilities were lovely - sauna and steam room that were very clean with a large relaxation area. There are snacks and teas available throughout the day, which is a lovely personal touch. You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

Spent 6 nights at the Lux Alpinae in Jan 23. We arrived on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere in the dining room was just great. Warm, relaxed and very inviting. Spent 3 of our 6 evenings eating here, the food was excellent and such a great change from normal Austrian hotel food. Waiters/ severs were polite, helpful and knowledgeable on skiing all about St. Anton. Breakfasts were even better, the morning host Sam (such a great host) manages the breakfast room with a fine touch, breakfast is healthy, filling, fresh with an egg or two any way you want it! The room was immaculately clean, exposed concrete but warm and with a great view over the snow capped mountains. Morning and afternoon lifts to and from the ski lift (only a short 10 min walk) and the ski/ boot storage in town all made the most important element, skiing so much easier. Ive stayed in 10/15 hotels in Austria and this is right up there for food, accommodation, friendliness, ease of access to skiing and of course the hosts Alexander and Sabine, well done guys!!
