Precies, de uitstraling van vergane glorie, maar dan wel in een ruime kamer met seeview, groot bed en ruime badkamer. Ja, het kraakt links en rechts, en er zijn wat beschadigingen aan het houtwerk en marmer, maar wat een sfeer zeg, en wat een locatie. Twee sterren, maar misschien ook omdat er geen restaurant is. Wat ook logisch is, gezien de vele leuke resto's in de buurt. Zeer aan te bevelen, tenzij je van van standaard klinisch hotels houdt, dan kun je je beter tot de Accor groep wenden.

The property is like stepping into a different era.. it has a French chateau feel about it. It was very central to third beach and the neighbourhood was very local with good bars and bakeries. The man at the front desk was very helpful. It’s not the most modern of hotels, but that is part of its charm & it was comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay.

The most beautiful view in all of San Sebastian... gorgeous room, east to find, great location for relaxation or activity. Highly recommended.

This was a fantastic hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel was in an excellent location across the road from a swimming beach and 30mins walk from the old town. The surrounding area had lots of cafes and bars, although the hotel itself was in a quiet tree lined street. There was a coffee maker iin the room, and air con was much appreciated. They kindly allowed us to park in front of the hotel even though we arrived several hours before check in. The hotel is a beautiful old building which has been modernised inside. If we were back i San Sebastian we'd definitely stay there again

Staff were more than helpful and friendly! them speaking English was very convenient and helpful. Staff new the area and were able to give great recommendations.
Hotel and grounds were very beautiful and well maintained.
I was in Room 103 and it had a little mold forming along the ceiling at the window in the bathroom, may be a worthy future inves**ent to add ventilation to the bathrooms to prevent this from happening.
All in all the hotel was amazing and I will recommend to all to stay there!
