Comarquinal Bioresort Penedes

A beautiful location and property but don’t follow Google navigation to get there or you’ll end up off road across vineyards belonging to another property. Owner apologised on arrival but communication in advance would have avoided this. Pros: character place with excellent facilities for communal gathering (we were a group of 6 adults). This is required because the hotel is very remote so not particularly easy to visit restaurants for dinner in the evening. We took our own plates, silverware etc as this wasn’t provided. Three fridges and tea/coffee making equipment were appreciated. The rooms were clean and our bed was very comfortable. Cons: we chose this hotel from others that were available because it had a swimming pool and tennis court and allowed 2 dogs. However, we were not told in advance that the pool would be empty and the tennis court net was broken. We paid an additional amount for the dogs upfront but one of the group was charged a further €10 for their dog on the second day because the owner said it was bigger than he thought it would be(!). There was a lovely housekeeper who seemed to have to do everything on her own. She did her best but the overall experience was not in line with the prices we paid. The breakfast was croissants, sliced bread and a bowl of scrambled eggs. No fruit, nice bread, cereals etc. The suite we had (€305 for 2 nights in October) was not what we would describe as a suite. It was a bedroom with a spa bath in it (hand-held shower in the bath only) and a separate loo and bidet with little privacy (the door didn’t close without using a flimsy bolt and the net curtains meant anyone walking across the courtyard in the evening would get a full view of anyone using the loo). The room did have a nice private terrace but not much use to us because of the time of year. There was a problem with hot water on the first day but the owner quickly called in someone to fix it. However, it’s necessary to waste a lot of water to get the sink and shower to run hot - took a good few minutes. Once it did get through, the water was a good temperature though. Overall we all felt it was over-priced for what we got. Not really up to standard for the prices charged. This a shame because the hotel has a lot of potential to deliver a good experience.

Beautiful views, serene location, and very friendly staff. Juan Carlos has made a very welcoming place to enjoy the Catalan countryside.

Fiquei hospedada com minha família (esposo e meu bebê) em dezembro de 2022. Foi maravilhoso, local lindo, limpo, atendimento muito cordial, café da manhã típico e bem servido. A mulher que cuida do local, muito gentil e amável, nos acolheu e orientou muito.

Situado en las afueras de la población, llegarás por un camino de tierra. El complejo es una casa de campo antigua con una decoración preciosa, jardines, animales y una gran piscina. Estas en plena naturaleza sin ruidos. Ofrecen desayuno tipo bufet y dispones de una sala donde hay neveras y cocina. Nosotros hemos reservado la suite para una celebración romántica y nos ha encantado. Muy recomendable.

Estamos muy contentos de haber decidido pasar 2 dias en este maravilloso hotel. Excepcional el personal y el cuidado del entorno. Estoy seguro que volveremos! Lo recomiendo tanto para familias como parejas!

Buscábamos tranquilidad y paz, fue acertado elegir este sitio, su enclave o ubicación es intrincada en la naturaleza, de ahí q al salir de la autopista llegar hasta el sitio es por caminos estrechos y pintorescos. La habitación limpia y con vista a los animales. En la noche cenamos en la terraza y a la luz de la luna, a pesar de ser verano corría un aire fresco. Un diez a la Montse y su trato cercano. Muy bueno el desayuno en ese jardín de encanto. Volveremos

Sitio bonito, piscina muy bien, y Montse un encanto, y su atención también, pero juan Carlos, el dueño, un impresentable, fuimos 4 días, primero me dijo, que no llevará a mis máscotas, luego que el cheko g, no me lo hacía hasta las 4 de la tarde, y eran las 12, del medio día, luego le hizo una foto a mi tarjeta de crédito, pensando yo que era como garantía, y resulta que el domingo a la hora de irnos, pido el cheki g a Montse, y solo me dieron el comprobante de mi tarjeta, o sea ya cobrado y todo, vamos sin yo estar delante, ni cheki g, ni ostias madA, y al tío ni se le vio el pelo, me cobró sin yo estar delante, con foto de mi tarjeta, que hizo por detrás, un sinvergüenza,y un impresentable,

Nos ha encantado, un lugar bonito en la naturaleza y servicio muy amable
