We got back from our 1 week of stay at Sognu di Rena. It was a combination of good and not so good experience Good part 1. Location is good and we got a good room with a sea view at the ground floor. Room was well clean upon arrival 2. There are good beaches and restaurants nearby which are worth exploring. 3. The team at the reception are very cooperative and help you in whichever way possible within their capacity Not so good part 1. We had booked this residence around 4 months in advance upon looking at the attached beach to the property, kids pool, bar at the pool, garden for my son to play in.. well .. kids pool, bar at the pool, garden was not open. a big gap on our vacation i must say and that was disappointing. 2. The kids pool was fixed only one day before we left..but that is not enough after spending already 5 days without this service 3. No mobile network in the apartment and neither Wifi works. I literally used to walk to the reception daily to connect to Wifi or mobile data to speak to my family and friends. not sure is it a budget issue or infrastructure problem 4. When one plans a vacation, they look at all the services a place has to offer (it is not only the apartment) but everything in the package (pool, bar etc which is part of the residence) and when you see upon arrival xyz list of items are not functional you feel sad and kind of unprofessional on the owners part 5. You indeed got the business but the customers compromised on their vacation. Would you do a partial compensation back in such cases? I don't know and cannot comment on your customer centric priorities... Overall it is a good location for a very laid back vacation in North Corsica. I can recommend it but as i learned the lesson, be very sure to check in advance if all their services are up and running.. It would be great to see a response back from Sognu di Rena if this review matters to them..
