Mooi ingericht hotel, goede bedden,vriendelijke hulpvaardige eigenaren. Leuke tuin met zitjes. Veel informatiefolders aanwezig over de omgeving. Ontbijt kwam wat rommelig over, maar ik denk dat dat door de Corona maatregelen kwam, normaliter serveert men een ontbijtbuffet, en nu werd dat aan tafel gebracht. Hotel ligt rustig, in de verte hoor je het belgeklingel van de koeien.

The experience with Pura Vida was OUTSTANDING (capital letters is not a mistake). We will repeat the visit for sure. Everything was perfect and the attention to details was amazing!!

I traveled with my 2 adult daughters. We stayed in a large comfortable room. The beds were very comfortable with beautiful wool rugs from a little shop in Ezcaray . The couple that own this hotel are the nicest people I’ve ever met . They helped with every issue or questions. The breakfast was great with espresso, jamon, pastries and fresh orange juice . They could not have been more hospitable. It’s a great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful countryside!!

Just beautiful hotel - we looked at everything for ages, it is all done with such good taste and style. The owners Asen and Javier looked after our every need with such friendliness and care - including they found me a fleece as I was caught out by a cold snap of weather. Breakfasts were wonderful, prepared and served by Asen and they both went to great lengths to ensure we saw the best of the area and everything we wanted to do. We were so spoilt - would love to have stayed longer.

Xavier and Ascen were perfect hosts and Xavier designed the place - which was refurbished from ancient uses and is impeccable. Breakfast perfectly yummy and location outstanding in a micro town near the Rioja hotspot of Escaray. Great choice, enjoy…

Incredibly stylish, unbelievable attention to detail. This is quite some place. It's run by a lovely couple who do everything in their power to make you feel welcome. Not only is the building exquisite, the garden is a pure delight and a great place to sit under the trees. I will be surprised if anybody gives this hotel less than a 5, it is a pure gem.

No suelo hacer comentarios sobre los alojamientos, me limito a puntuar, creo que eso ya es suficiente referencia, pero debo hacer una excepción. Hemos disfrutado de la profesionalidad , amabilidad y buen hacer de los responsables de este el que fuera nuestro “Hogar” durante 4 noches, desde el primer momento la amabilidad forma parte del entorno , un entorno inigualable, dónde encontrar Paz Su gente te hace sentir como en casa , esos desayunos de calidad y cantidad en un ambiente entrañable Aconsejar a quien quiera conocer la zona no dudar ni un momento la elección, porque es “PURA VIDA” Volveremos, Muchísimas Gracias por hacer que nuestras vacaciones fuesen tan especiales

Precioso hotel rural, perfecto para descansar después de esquiar en Valdezcaray. Ascen es un encanto, y esta muy pendiente de que estés a gusto. La atención y el hotel, merecen un 10!!. Está a 5 min de ezcaray y por lo tanto, cerca de la pista de esquí.
