I booked this property based on the great reviews but I now feel bamboozled. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean, but the property is clearly not updated often and is a cheap option for travelers. Out of the 4 or so outlets in our room, 2 were loose and unsafe to use, one heated up my charging block and all but 1 were located behind furniture that had to be moved to get to them. The wood flooring was coming up off the floor and I tripped multiple times, as did my son. The windows are probably single paned and because the property is right off the freeway, we heard everything and didn't sleep well. The shower/tub facets were also separating from the wall. Another reason for our booking was the free breakfast. This was very disappointing as it was a broken waffle maker, orange juice from a dispenser and small chocolate "crossiants" that you buy from Costco.
Positives: friendly staff, working AC units, a fridge and microwave in our room and a separate couch and tv for my son to watch cartoons when he woke up before everyone else.
Overall, not what I'd expect from a Days Inn and I'm wishing I would have gone with a Motel 6 instead.
