Handy to get around the city. We were able to walk to Bali Hai restaurant down street.
Pillows could be firmer.

Natyley was so helpful at check-in. She explained the unexpected upgrade as well as property amenities. The waterfront view was amazing from our room. The staff overall was very accommodating with any requests we had (pack n' play) (parking pass) (room key), and the on-site restaurant was very good for Sunday brunch.

Great quiet place to stay: When we got there one of electrical boxes malfunctioned and the front desk staff made sure to move our room that was not affected. Room was clean. I always check for bed bucs and it was clean. The view outside of hotel is really nice and there are some good food spot near by. Close to airport and places to walk and enjoy the scenery. You an see the San Diego skyline from the parking lot they also have several entertainment but four to time conflicts we were not able to experience them. The pool was closed and part of the property was under construction but it was cold so not like we would have enjoyed it anyway. We did learn the pretty and big pool is heated, but it was fenced off. They charge $25 for per night for parking and $20 resort fee, they charge you $50 upfront as a deposit and those additional fees get deducted from that $50 amount. So if you plan on parking, add that to your hotel fee. Those are paid on site.

Easy check in and rooms seem to have some upgraded furniture since last time we were here. Comfy bed. We like shelter island area so this is one of our preferred hotels in San Diego.

A beautiful facility in a very cool location near the water. Easy to get to from the airport, but a very different area that has a nice vibe that's all its own.
