We booked this Agriturismo last minute so we did not quite know what to expect but this place was charming and clean and centrally located to tour other spots in Emilia Romana. About 1/2 hour to Bologna and an hour to Parma & Modena. We stayed in one of the apartments with a double and single bed and a nice kitchen and bath. Our host Francesco was amazing and had all sorts of tips for us. The 4 cats were a bonus! And a lovely breakfast each morning. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here.

Had a really nice stay! The location is beautiful, there’s a very well preserved garden including a refreshing pool and also a good breakfast. It’s a perfect location if you want to visit Bologna but also want to enjoy a bit of nature and quiteness.

This is a very quaint property with all you need to make your stay enjoyable. Easy access by taxi to city of Bologna. Rooms are spacious and a cute common dining area. Owners are friendly and very helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed in Il Cavicchio for one night and were not disappointed. There was a beautiful garden and a pool (Unfortunately off-season) and everything was very clean. The owner Federico was very gentle and helpful and a good host. I can recommend it highly.

Il Cavicchio is a very nice place full of natural smells of Rosemary and Lavander at the edge of a nice Pool... Definitely something special is the breakfast and their wine, very genuine. Most important thig is totally EcoFriendly

Appena rientrati da una fantastica vacanza di 3 notti e 4 giorni in questa splendida location. Un vero paradiso anche per chi, come noi, aveva un amico a quattro zampe a seguito. Oltre alla sensazione di sentirsi a casa grazie alla cordialità del proprietario Federico e della dolcissima Chiara, abbiamo avuto la possibilità di pranzare in sede facendo un barbecue (ci hanno fornito tutto - anche l'attrezzatura professionale per la brace), di rilassarci al sole e di godere della zona comune in qualsiasi momento. Gli unici motivi per cui non ho dato il massimo sono i seguenti: colazione molto basica (apprezzate le marmellate fatte in casa) e camera con bagno cieco (colpa mia che al momento della prenotazione non ho comunicato che non avrei gradito un bagno senza finestre). Per il resto CI TORNERO' SICURAMENTE!!!
