Tru by Hilton San Antonio at the Rim

The room was a little small and not much for storage your bags, other than that it was ok

Overall the stay was good. While I appreciate the eco friendliness of the idea, the squeeze bottle soap, lotion , and shampoo were impossible for my 91-year old mother to squeeze and even I had to use both hands and scoop soap up from the counter. The other negative for me were the pillows. They were flat and offered no head support.

I ask for cleaning every day, 3 days stay and none was celan. The personal explanation even I ask 3 times per day was sorry we forgot. I think if the charge the full and they dos not clean they should give a diacount or compesate with simething else if they are low in personnel.

Overall everything was good until my family and I decided to shower before going to bed. We were tired and it was late. The container for the body wash was empty YES totally empty and we were so tired we used shampoo as body wash, the next morning we checked out and I mentioned it to the front desk and just an “ok we will let them know” not even an apology. Not the first time we stay there and it’s nice but this rubbed us the wrong way. We’ve stayed at other Tru hotels and never had that happen. Hope they change their way handling customer service complaints.

This chain is consistently good across locations I've visited. Love the breakfast, 24 hour water and coffee is great!

A quick decision to visit San Antonio for the night. The hotel came highly recommended by family who’d been staying at Tru hotels. Experience has been great.

The location was quiet and safe. Shopping was at a walking distance. Staff was friendly at check in.

The room was great however the landscaping beds had numerous objects of trash in them the 4 days I stayed. The flag that is on the flag pole out front is in disgraceful condition and needs to be taken down, disposed of properly and a new one put up
