Great location, friendly efficient staff and excellent breakfast- but not a four star hotel. No bathrobes, no slippers, no daily water bottles in the room and no bathroom vanity kit/toiletries. Overpriced for a four star hotel so it fits in the 3 star category.
18 euros for daily parking was a bit steep as well compared to other hotels.
Loved the location but for the price I would stay at a true four star hotel on our next visit to Salzburg.

My husband and I stayed here during Christmas and the hotel had a festive cheer with its tasteful decorations. Check-in process was really smooth and the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious - plenty of room to move around even with our 2 large suitcases opened. We forgot that our booking came with free breakfasts so we missed out on the first morning. Nevertheless, the breakfast choice was good and we especially loved the sausages. Though the hotel is located quite a long walk away from the old town, we couldn’t complain as the price was reasonable and we had a pleasant stay. Plus, there’s ample parking space (extra charge) in the hotel grounds and is very well lit at night, making us feel safe even when leaving and returning to the hotel late at night.

Het hotel is goed gelegen niet te ver van het centrum . Het ligt wel aan een drukke baan maar als je kamer in het bijgebouw ligt , heb je er geen last van . Vanuit het hotel steek je de baan over en kan je via een weg naast de rivier zo naar het centrum. Het ontvangst aan de receptie is zeer zakelijk en koel . Er is een betalende parking naast het hotel maar er is geen garantie dat er plaats is . Dus hebben we de duurdere parking in de garage genomen . Wij hebben 2 overnachtingen geboekt . Het eerste ontbijt was dramatisch . Er was ook een grote groep sportmannen en in de ontbijtzaal was geen enkele propere tafel te vinden . Grote Koffietassen hebben we zelf moeten zoeken . Het buffet is vrij beperkt , geen enkele warme schotel . Het 2e ontbijt iets beter . In iedere geval de broodjes zijn niet kraakvers . De kamer is mooi en proper .

Nice public areas and lovely restaurant. 'Deluxe' room quite small with small shower bathroom, shallow shower tray so water everywhere, no body lotion. Wouldn't say it was a 4* hotel, more like 3.5*. Breakfast good but heavily watered down fruit juice. Service lovely from all staff all areas. Not very central location, good 25 mins walk to main areas and 15 mins bus from main station. Couldn't really recommend it tbh.

To order room service, one has to go down to the reception. No intercom. Maintenance issue was not resolved even after asking for two days. Finally gave up on it. Breakfast selection can be better.

Hotel downgraded our prepaid suite to standard room without prior notice or even at the check-in. The downgrade was (partly?) compensated only after complaint. No explanation was given. This does not give very good picture of the hotel’s operating methods. I can’t recommend the place.

Horrible staff and customer service. Snow storm prevented travel to hotel area. Snow storm was on news. Attempted to call the hotel without any answer, emailed them without a response. Finally received a response telling me they couldn't help me because i booked through a third party. Was charged full price to include five breakfasts we were not there to have. Refused to be helpful in any way. The storm made local news today showing how it shut down all trains to the area. I will never book with this chain again. So unprofessionalism. Stay away if you want good customer service

Horrible customer service. Tried calling the property numerous times when all the trains were canceled due to a snow storm. They did not answer the phone and then charged me the full rate stating i did not cancel in time. I will be sure to never book through this chain again.

We loved the hotel, lovely room. Our only feedback to stop it being a 5 was that the shower could of been better - quite a minor thing but when walking round in cold we both enjoy hot shower when back. Hotel spotlessly clean too, we really enjoyed our time in the hotel and Salzburg.
