Gorgeous hotel. I will stay again. Food was fabulous. The outside bar was enjoyable. I highly recommend. The view was also relaxing watching the boats.

Lovely hotel and setting. Common areas fine. Rooms small and unimpressive. Gym laughable and not at all worth the charge. Restaurant fine. Breakfast buffet all eaten up by 10 AM.

Authentic 19th century atmosphere. Fabulous room (superior sea view). Excellent reception staff. Nice breakfast.

Fantastic service by barstaff(Nadja) och front desk personal (Jonas). Food very good and the views from the Franska Matsalen was splendid.
Only downside of the stay was the waiter working at the dinner service, who, unlike the rest of the team, had no sense of service at all. He even ignored my wife completly and just waved her away when she had a question. I did not expect such a arrogant gesture from the hotel staff, given the rest of the staffs attentiveness.
All in all a great place apart from the incident above.
A very dogfriendly place as well.

The hotel is very beautiful and the location is good, just a few steps from the train. Very idyllic. Family room is of good size, the room is clean, however age is showing and some update could be in place. Overall good experience! Only big minus is the spa - the spa access with kids is possible only in the morning from 7-9 and from 12-14. Both times somewhat impossible. Had we know this, we would not have come since for us this was one criteria when choosing the hotel. Now the kids could not swim.
