Milford Hall Hotel & Spa

Het gebouw heeft een bepaalde geschiedenis, maar de sleutel is nog steeds antiek en er is geen kamerkaart😅. De kamer was niet bijzonder droog, gelukkig was de temperatuur die dag niet hoog, anders was het wel benauwd geweest in de kamer. Hoewel het ontbijt van hetzelfde type is, is dit een restaurant dat goed smaakt en de bediening hartelijk is. Over het algemeen is het oké. Het is een beetje ver van het treinstation van Salisbury en een taxi kost ongeveer 5 pond.

차없이 가기에는 많이 힘들어요 배쓰역에서 1시간정도 걸었어요 가는길에 풍경이 무척예쁘지만 비가오고 어두워져서 걸어가기 힘들었어요 침구류와 청결도 그리고 물이 잘나와서 좋았어요 아침에 일어나서 식당에 갔는데 뷰도 좋고 음식도 좋았어요 친절한 직원분들 그리고 아담하지만 깨끗한 방에서 잘지내다가 왔어요 아침에는 뷰가 좋아서 강따라 걸어서 로만바쓰까지 산책해서 왔는데 새소리 물소리 그리고 멋진 자연환경. 너무 좋았어요.

The pros -Duty manager gave us a 30% refund and a bottle of red wine. -Supportive staff. -TV in room had all the apps you’d imagine on a modern LED TV. We ended up watching Netflix ;). Breakfast was cheap and of a good standard. The cons -The hotel is quite dated. -Heater is on a timer, so when we checked in, it was a cold and damp room. -wall mounted temporary electrical heater sounded like a jet taking off and made the walls vibrate when on. -Hot water for bath and shower wasn’t really a thing. But hot enough in the sink. I felt that the price charged for the room isn’t realistic. It felt very much like a budget motel although photos would have you believe otherwise. It was cold and damp. So much so that I went to the front desk and made a complaint. The duty manager came to my room after 5 min and offered a refund and a bottle of wine which was very kind and appreciated! Manager explained that the rooms were being upgraded. I just felt a tad cheated as I booked this hotel due to its proximity to Salisbury town and based on the photographs. This is either a hotels.con issue or honesty of the hotels as this has happened a few times now. Would I stay at this hotel again - no, however, if the rooms were upgraded then I would based on the staff and proximity.

The location was brilliant for the town. We had no toilet roll in the rooms. The staff seemed immature and didnt really know how to handle the hotel - ie quoted wrong prices for breakfast and were asked 3 times to bring milk to room and they still forgot. We had a baby (they knew, as cot requested) but they put us on the top floor with no lift and nowhere to store buggy. The hairdryer almost caught fire and there was a large party in the hotel until the early hours with DJ music playing. I would not recommend this hotel.

excellent service, lovely breakfast, nothing was to much trouble, recommend it to anyone. Ken& Marge.

A little tired in areas but our room was lovely and the old part of the house beautiful.

A lovely hotel, staff excellent. A really friendly welcoming place to stay.
