This Villa located near Bordeaux France is just exquisite. Throwing open our giant casement windows in the bedroom to let in the fresh French air is romance straight out of a Rom Com. The bathrooms are newly remodeled with updated fixtures. Fluffy towels and bed sheets are so luxurious, I wanted to take them home with me. Staff is over the top friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the dining room with fresh croissant, warm baguettes and rich, coffee is something I’m still dreaming about now that I am at home in the states. The owner greeted us with champagne from his vineyard. Later that weekend he brought in a private chef and the whole group was wined and dined. Close to downtown Bordeaux, Cite du Vin, and prehistoric painted caves. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa du Chateau Belloy! Our host was VERY gracious and the staff was helpful. The villa and our room provided a true French experience, with modern conveniences. They have a lovely indoor swimming pool and a very good continental breakfast. Make sure to taste the wines of Chateau Belloy’s wine estate at the tasting room across the street!

We arrived around 1700. It was hard to find reception, after a phone-call , they said some-one in the wine shop, but the shop was closed. I went into the villa and finally found the girl from the wine-shop to show us around. Unfortunately they had planned 30minutes (1700-1730) for the swimming pool for us, of which 15minutes already passed. I asked to allow swimming after dinner (2100) but that was not allowed. The villa, premises and breakfast are perfect.

Très bonne adresse si vous êtes de passage à Fronsac. Logement très propre, literie de très bonne qualité. Piscine et jacuzzi à disposition. Petit déjeuner relativement copieux. Vous pouvez en profiter pour visiter leur domaine viticole et déguster quelques crus.
