Hotel Restaurant le Clos de Pradines

Schitterende omgeving en gebouw, charmant zelfs. PRM-kamer niet slecht, maar praktische en toegankelijkheidsdetails om te beoordelen, niet erg praktisch voor één persoon. Goede ontvangst, maar gezien de prijs voor 3 nachten zou een klein gebaar zoals gratis parkeren of zelfs gewoon een kopje koffie op prijs zijn gesteld. Toch een prachtige plek, aangezien het moeilijk is om tijdens de vakantie iets fatsoenlijks en opens te vinden, ver van de grote steden.

Een hotel dat slecht veroudert. Ik ging terug na 16 jaar en ik ben teleurgesteld. Luiken die kraken en niet meer sluiten, muren die gerepareerd moeten worden, zwembadterras begroeid met onkruid... Aan de andere kant is het interieur van het hotel niet veranderd en blijft het comfortabel, ook al is het recente beddengoed erg stevig! Vintage badkuip. Teleurstelling in het restaurant waar je een eendenborst geserveerd krijgt zonder je de gewenste bereiding te vragen en waar de borst arriveert... grijs zo gaar! Gewone kruik wijn voor 19 euro, wat overdreven is. Bevredigend dessert en voorgerecht allemaal voor 36 euro. Tenslotte kost hotelparkeren 4 euro per dag voor hotelgasten, wat overdreven is omdat je elders in het dorp niet kunt parkeren. Kortom, grote teleurstelling.

The staff is very nice and the place is super quiet. The pool is great after a hot day visiting.

Bedrooms old, carpet very used cheap uncomfortable bed, no towel change until i leard to leave it in sink, housekeeping left my windows wide open with roof access, i could have had everything stolen. Staff fantastic. Spend the money and upgrade the rooms.

What a delightful find - this is a treasure! We found it b accident driving through France and could not have been happier. The restaurant was closed that night so we are directed to a marvelous place down the hill and it was wonderful. The town is worth some time - small and charming!

It was wonderful - the property is beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond. The food in the restaurant is top-notch, which I was not expecting. I would definitely stay here again and recommend wholeheartedly.

What can I say about this hotel that is of a positive nature ? Nothing, I'm afraid. First advice: do not trust the pictures on their website as they do not make justice to the disaster this hotel really is. We booked based on their website pictures and were fooled by the outrageous price into thinking the quality would be in line. Not to the slightest. (we paid 270 euros including average quality dinner for one with one glass of house wine) We arrived late and had to negotiate a substantial flight of stairs all the way up to reception. Thankfully neither me nor my husband are handicapped (no handicap access to be seen anywhere unless they consider the back access to the swimming pool past the garbage bins as one ...) The decoration is a joke, a mix of a bad version of Cirque du Soleil with a garage sale from my odd auntie. The bedroom ? Well, I don't even know where to start, from the bed headboard that does not match the size of the mattress to the ridiculous furniture all around ... I don't think I have stayed in a worst place in my life. To add insult to injury my husband got Legionnaire's disease and this is actually the only place where he could have got it. When I called, after he got out of hospital where he stayed for 10 days fighting for his life, the manager's reaction was defensive and of complete denial mentioning it was impossible as they comply with the law, etc etc. But out of interest, he never asked for our name, date of stay or any other personal details so he could at the very least isolate the room and call the relevant authorities as an urgent matter as this is a potentially deadly disease. He held onto his guns and that was it. As a side comment, Legionnaire's is a bacteria which may be present in either water pipes or jacuzzis or in unclean AC units. In our case it is in the AC unit because we were so disappointed with the bedroom we did not even take a shower in the morning, instead we left early and went back home. Proof hopefully will be provided in due course as the relevant French Health Department has been directly notified by the hospital where my husband was treated. So. That brings me back to my review's title. Run for your life ! Literally.

Ein charmantes Hotel mit südfranzösischen Charme. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und mehrsprachig. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen

Alors on ne va pas se mentir … expérience décevante … les photo du site datent « d un autre temps » … le lieu est sublime mais pas entrenu à sa juste valeur … l espace piscine bof … mais ça passe - le plus gênant c est quand même la propreté assez limite de la chambre notamment des dessus de lits et coussins de lits qui eux aussi datent « d un autre temps » … odeurs dans les toilettes … bref décevant malgré la sympathie du personnel on s attend à un niveau plus élevé quand on arrive sur ce lieu magnifique …
