This is potentially a perfect place to stop over. Close to the motorway and close to the beautiful town of St.Flour.
But we were sold a breakfast on arrival and no one turned up to prepare it until 8:10 by which time many guests were leaving annoyed that they had not had breakfast and were now late to start their journey. I saw a very young person arrive at 8:10. She was unable to give me a card refund and said she would post me a cheque. I don't expect to see the cheque. The coffee machine in the lobby was also broken. If these things had operated normally I would have been impressed with this little place who are dog friendly and good value for price.

I booked this hotel knowing that the check in was until 8pm however I used the ******* “Contact” button to request a late check in. The options were given in 2 hour slots - I selected 8- 10pm. I also messaged asking the property if the rooms had AC or fans. Neither request was acknowledged. As I had paid and been charged and the booking confirmed by *******, my family and I tuned up at the hotel after a 12hour drive from Spain to find it all locked up and no entry possible.
Absolutely furious with both The Brit Hotel and ******* and will never use either of them again.

Hôtel à fuir absolument. Chambres très vétustes et petits déjeuner minimaliste. De plus hôtel injoignable pour annuler une réservation et prélèvement sur la carte bancaire sans autorisation. Personnel d'une mauvaise foi absolue et refuse tout geste commercial.

hôtel un peut vieillot aurait besoin d'une restauration , c'et malgré tout propre et pour une nuit ca fait le job , mais le prix trop élevé pour la prestation mon gout, dommage car le lieu est calme , le petit dej idem un minima , nous avons malgré tout passé une bonne nuit.

Lo primero que debe saberse es que este hotel deja de ser atendido a las 20h, a partir de ahí toda la atención es telefónica (exclusivamente en francés) y el acceso es por clave y las llaves las dejan en escondrijos. El hotel es muy muy básico y sólo apto para pmr en la planta baja. Las habitaciones son tremendamente austeras como lo es el desayuno. El personal no destaca precisamente por su simpatía.

Ici, pas de surprise, le choix d’un classement deux étoiles donne un confort et service deux étoiles. L’hôtel est correcte, l’accueil avant 19.00 heures est personnalisé, la chambre qui donne sur la route est propre, attention toutefois il n’y a pas de double vitrage. Côté petit déjeuner tout y est est sans plus.
