Hotel le Senechal

I love this hotel. The interior of each room is individual and all beautiful. In a great position in the middle of town but quiet. It was early in the year but we were able to swim in the pool and have a bit of a sunbathe.We went to a nearby restaurant in the evening and then came back to the hotel for tea and biscuits. The hotel has a lounge and they leave everything you need to make drinks etc. We met some other guests and had a lovely time with them sitting in beautiful surroundings. It’s our second visit here and it was just as fab. as we remembered. Great breakfast and all at a very reasonable price.

From the moment we arrived at your hotel staff very friendly and helpful loved it parked the car up for the few days hired bikes and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings would Definitely recommend and stay again Merci Beaucoup 💕💕💕

Lovely hotel. It’s a shabby chic boutique hotel carved from a number of buildings with each room unique which makes it very interesting. I’d take this over a 500 bed 5 star any day. The location is perfect beside the main square and the staff were really helpful, especially Tomas. We rented electric bikes for the 4 days from the bike shop down the street - the only way to see the island. The only blot on its copybook was breakfast which was underwhelming and overpriced. The cafe in the square was superior. I’ll be back.

Couldn't have been happier with our hotel choice. It was a little slice of heaven. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the hotel was such a peaceful base to explore from. Will 100% be returning and recommending to family and friends.

What a wonderful stay and to be greeted by such a smiley Alex, thank you. We arrived earlier than check in time and a vacant upgraded room was found. Room 45 which was completely blissful. Best thing ever was a small working fireplace that we used with logs supplied and our own kindling we gathered whilst cycling. We felt blessed. The bed was very comfortable. Shabby chic interior. Lovely bath tub with beautiful soaps. Such a pretty location in the square of Ars en Re.

Beautiful hotel in the middle off the quaint town centre. We had to wait two years to enjoy our holiday due to COVID and the hotel were extremely understanding,helpful and friendly. We have a holiday let in England and completely understand the nigh**are off last minute cancellations due to COVID and requests for refunds , credit notes, deferring dates etc which gave a stressful uncertain income for months, years . Anyway the hotel was excellent full off character and all the things you need for a relaxing stay. The rooms I’m sure are all different as the buildings are so different so if you have any special requirements good to specify like walk in shower or bath etc. The garden and pool area was lovely and relaxing plentiful flowers,shade and seating. The pool although small was great to cool off after a mammoth cycle ride. All the staff were very friendly ,helpful and willing to communicate in English if required.

I booked this hotel in February 2020, then covid hit. I canceled my booking - before 21 days prior to my stay. Which according to the terms should have entitled me to a full refund. However the hotel refused to pay me back, instead they issued a credit note. And said I could get my money back after 18 months. It has now been 18 months, I asked for my money back. The hotel offered to extend my credit - clearly not wanting to reimburst my money. I said «no Thanks» and that I’d rather have the money reimburst. After 4-5 emails back and fourth they compiled. However - they have now managed to draw the same amount from my account instead of crediting. They are not picking up the phone, they are slow to respond. I have previously stayed here. But with the absolute amateur operation they are Running I’m never going back. There is a complete lack of Customer service
