2 nachten geboekt in dit ‘huis’, oa omdat er ook gegeten kan worden. Dat was helaas niet het geval zei de eigenaar. Deze (zater)dag een select gezelschap en op zondag gesloten. Staat niet op de site. Maar genoeg restaurants in het dorp zei hij. Niet dus. Eentje was open maar vol. De andere was een soort lokale Burgertent. Bij die laatste dus een burger gegeten.. Kamer in orde, zo ook het ontbijt. Maar een beetje meer klantvriendelijkheid zou fijner zijn geweest.

What a delightful experience staying at this charming yet uniquely boutique hotel. The comfort surpassed expectations, and the hospitality of the owners was exceptional. The culinary delights were truly impressive. Additionally, the events and cinema nights added a special touch should you be a local resident, loved this concept. . Located conveniently in Ruthin, it's the perfect spot for those attending events at the castle.

I attended the Supper Club's Christmas dinner last night and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The menu was really good the other diners were great company; all in all, a very nice way to continue the Festive Season experience - thanks Gavin and Chris!

Beautiful decor. Room was spotless , comfy bed and delicious breakfast . Highly recommend . Ruthin is a lovely town with lots to see and nice shops . Lovely craft centre with good cafe for lunch . Jail visit very interesting

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Characterful old building with smart individual decor. Great food for breakfast and dinner. Lovely views across to clwydian hills from our room. Two minutes walk from town square.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with individually designed and comfortable rooms in the middle of a lovely town within easy reach of lots of lovely walks or days out.
The reason we've stayed there four times now is the warmth of the welcome and quality of the hospitality.
The food is exceptionally good quality and excellent value for money. You should dine in the restaurant at least once during your stay.
There's a nice little bar that's perfect for a relaxing drink.
Gavin and Chris are very accommodating and welcoming.
Can't recommend Manorhaus highly enough.
