Lovely location and artwork and furniture in public areas of the hotel! No secure wifi was a concern.

Our second stay at this wonderful Hotel with a gap of 6 years, but everything was perfect as it was in 2017. The building and its situation is almost fairytale. I hope we can return again in the future.

I really like the waterfront position of this fantastic historic Hotel, easy parking on site and then you are able to walk around the waterfront. Very good restaurant , with views to the water and lots to see and do close by. I would of liked to of stayed longer.

My brother and I are in our mid-eighties and reasonably active. We had no problem, but we felt that there weren't sufficient 'handholds' to help elderly people feel secure getting into and out of bath / shower - especially since a large proportion of your guests are getting on a bit! Otherwise a great experience!

Great water front Historic place to stay. Every New Zealander should take time out and go to Russell and stay at this fantastic old hotel, the oldest hotel in New Zealand.
