Birmingham South (Rubery)

Brilliant staff. Soooo friendly and helpful. Olivia is fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble. Despite being on a dated retail park there is a Lovely wooded walk next to the hotel along the Rae Valley. It’s a hidden gem. You will need to ask how to find it though. It’s that secret!

We have stayed at Rubery many times and are always happy with the room, the parking facilities and the friendly staff. Most the rooms are quiet at night, even the ones facing the road, as the road isn’t very busy at night time. The breakfast is perfectly good and I was very pleased that they had vegan sausages and vegan bacon. You need to ask for this when you arrive for breakfast, as they are cooked to order. We enjoy staying at Rubery, the only thing that would make it a much more pleasant stay would be air con in the rooms. I do find the rooms pretty hot and stuffy, especially in the summer. They do have fans in the rooms though, so I think they are aware of this. Overall, very happy staying at Rubery. Would recommend.

We love staying here the staff are so friendly and helpful and go out of there way to help. We feel it's good value for money and right in the middle of everywhere we need to go. The lift was out of action on our stay so was given an accessible room as I'm disabled and couldn't manage the stairs.

Ideal short stopover close to Birmingham. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, very clean room, and amazingly clean bathroom. I can’t remember the last time I saw a shower head which was that clean! Plenty of parking. The only possible improvement would have been air conditioning, but that isn’t critical for us.

Delightful staff. Spotless room. The usual excellent bed, TV etc. Loads of parking. A 25 min drive into Birmingham

From the pre arrival phone call, the reminder e-mails and the warmest of welcomes this experience was one of the best Premier Inn stays I have had. Olivia was so attentive and welcoming, a real credit to Premier Inn. Her personal interest and attention in making our stay a good one was always evident.

Comfortable bed, very clean and quiet room, if a bit too hot with AC not working. But the most important draw is… Kirsti, the Indiana Jones of the Premier Inn venture. When I entered my room, I found Aragog on my curtains. I bravely ran down the stairs screaming to ask Kirsti to sort it out for me. After much giggling and very little support from me, Aragog was relinquished. Made my stay- thank you Kirsti!

The hotel experience was great. The staff were nothing but helpful and always available to speak to. Hotel room was comfortable and fresh bedding and towels frequently changed. Overall a really lovely stay at the hotel. Location is good with links to main attractions

Good value for money and the staff were very welcoming, they had a find the duck game for the kids to win a prize if they could fine the baby rubber duck hidden in the room and even left colouring packs out on the beds to keep the kids occupied. Very clean both in and around the hotel.
