Het was een rustig en proper hotel. We waren tevreden tot we gezellig wilden tafelen. Een fles wijn vanuit de streek (Viré Clessé, domaine Bonhomme) heb je hier niet onder de 78€ Een glas rode wijn was 18€. Wat een ontgoocheling om zo je maaltijd te moeten beginnen! De dag nadien hebben we het wijndomein Bonhomme bezocht, bleek achter de hoek te zijn…18€ per fles hebben we daar betaald voor dezelfde fles. We hebben dan meteen 6 flessen gekocht om deze “kater” weg te spoelen… Berichtje aan de maître, zet ook enkele toegankelijke wijnen op de kaart. En lach het niet weg als hier ook naar gevraagd wordt!

Goed gelegen, Piek fijn verzorgd tot in de details. Charmante ontvangst, kleinschalig hotel in boetiek stijl. Het restaurant was een ontdekking, origineel, zeer verzorgd en lekkere wijnen. Ook het ontbijt was perfect 👍 zeker een aanrader.

Op terugreis van Italië,naar huis,wouden we toch nog even genieten. Halfweg ongeveer,iets gereserveerd. In Viré,wat ons een leuk dorpje leek. We kwamen aan in een doods hotel.Geen verlichting aan,vrij kil.De gastheer was vriendelijk. Op het t****e verdiep,kwamen we uit de lift,en het rook met muf. Ik begrijp uiteraard dat het seizoen nog niet van start is en daardoor erg rustig. Maar dat dit hotel op TripAdvisor vermeld staat als bestseller,en goed van prijs is onbegrijpelijk. We vroegen een flesje cremant van de streek,en we betaalden 65€ / fles. We namen er 2(waren met 4)... We reserveerden in zijn gerenommeerde restaurant. Waar we samen met nog 1 koppel zaten. 4 glazen witte wijn bij het voorgerecht. 19€ voor 1 glaasje witte wijn. De kaart is beperkt,en eigenaar doet dus deze suggestie. Voorgerecht was alles gecombineerd met fruit. Een aspic die zoet was,framboos,mango,rauwe scampi.... Hoofdgerecht was gevogelte,met een zware,zoete saus.Daarbij spinazie en een compote van cassis. Flesje rood daarbij,van de streek...86€. De eindafrekening was 1088€ voor 2 classic kamers,2 flesjes apero. Elk een voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht,koffie. Ontbijt s'ochtend was lekker. Maar veeeeeeeel te duur voor de kwaliteit. Wij voelden ons stevig bedot. Jammer,want de regio was erg mooi. We gaan regelmatig naar Italië,dus het had kunnen een prima uitvalsbasis geweest zijn. Maar sorry TripAdvisor....checken jullie dit zelf aub.

Absolutely 💯 percent memorable experience. From the moment you arrive you will be met with cordiality and attentiveness, but not in your face. We ate dinner at the restaurant (Chef Frederic Carrion) and were delighted with a burst of flavours and colour. Truely one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I need a separate page to describe each dish. We stayed in the Junior Suite which is spacious and spotless. And wow - what a comfortable bed. A truely memorable time due to Frederic Carrion, his wife and the rest of the team. Thank you. We will be back.

Very hard to rate this hotel as it was good but the issue I have with it was value for money. The quality and service were fine and we did enjoy our stay but just felt everything was priced to the max, except the wine which was astronomical. Few choices of wine and some from across the road which had enormous marks ups.We had dinner on New Year's Eve and felt it lacked a**osphere and effort to bring it to life. A once only experience.

Amazing small luxury Hotel with big cozy rooms, a Spa with a Jacuzzi, and a formal gourmet Restaurant. The Duck is a must. Very kind service by the owner. Outstanding Breakfast, good wines. Dog friendly, We will come back

A four star hotel? What a joke. The experience begins from the ”reception”. A messy table with a messy guy in a bit dirty jeans and in a wrinkeled t-shirt. He takes us to the elevator to show our room. The elevator is dirty and noisy… we are starting to get a bit worried about our ”delux room”. The hotel guy takes us to our room, which is amazing… but not in a good way. The interior is more kitsch than Trump could design in his wildest dreams. The room was supposed to have a view to a wineyards… but no, no views. I bring this up and then he takes us to another room and says that this is the best they’ve got. The room is again kitsch, but in another way. Can’t really describe the vibe, it was from the 70’s. And the view? To the backyards of neighbours, and if you raise to your toes you could barely see something green… We felt betrayed and we left, couldn’t sleep a night on that place.

Charming hotel in village centre. Warm welcome. Lovely large comfortable junior suite. Spectacular dinner by chef Frederick served on the terrace. We had the Inspiration menu and it did not disappoint. Breakfast for a king! Frederic was an impeccable host, we thank you and hope to return.

We stopped off here on our way back from the Alps. We left on the Friday as opposed to 'change-over Saturday' to get a head start on the journey back. We arrived circa 21:00 hrs and were met by very friendly staff. They poured us both the most enormous glasses of white Burgundy and despite my appalling 'GCSE level French, were very helpful. The hotel is lovely with very modern but very comfortable rooms. Our room was an inter-connecting room with our two daughters' room and overlooked the square. The setting is so perfectly French with a patisserie, boulangerie and supermarche just across from the hotel. Very, very, very pleasant stay and would have loved to have stayed longer. We didn't have supper but I understand the restaurant is pretty special too. I hope I can find a reason to visit again.
