Orange Hotel

Very nice and helpful staff. Wifi is decent. Location is very close to Vatican city. Rooms are alright not too bad hence the price 🙂

Cet hôtel mérite à peine deux étoiles. Une des hôtesses d'accueil est agréable l'autre est aussi avenante qu'une porte de prison. La télévision ne marche pas et malgré nos réclamations répétées elle n'a jamais été réparée.

Nos trataron y nos ayudaron muy bien con mi abuela que iba en Silla de Ruedas. Y un cabezal muy grande y cómodo.

Het personeel was aardig en behulpzaam toen we hulp nodig hadden bij bijvoorbeeld het boeken van een taxi. Eenmaal in de kamer voelde het niet helemaal schoon, omdat er oude plastic hoezen waren die meestal ter bescherming in het kruis van nieuwe bikinibroekjes zitten. Deze waren waarschijnlijk door een vorige gast als "leuk" aan de muur geplakt en vervolgens door het schoonmaakpersoneel gemist. Er zat ook geen zeep in hun container en deze was vies in de hoeken en op sommige plaatsen stoffig. Dit alles is natuurlijk iets wat we bij het personeel hadden kunnen bespreken, terwijl we kunnen vinden dat dit wel had moeten gebeuren gezien het hotel als 4-sterren is geclassificeerd. Het bed was oké, hoewel een beetje hard, de verlichting was slecht en verwarrend en we konden de AC niet uitschakelen terwijl we de kamer uit waren, wat vanuit milieuoogpunt niet echt logisch is. Bij aankomst kregen we ook te horen dat ze geen restaurant hadden, wat jammer was omdat er zowel informatie was dat er een vi *******.se zou zijn als de eigen website van het hotel. Tijdens de laatste avond, de nacht van een vrijdag, was de muziek van nabijgelegen nachtclubs te horen alsof deze op de kamer werd gespeeld, dus als je hier een weekend verblijft en vroeg wilt slapen, zijn oordoppen aan te raden! De locatie is geweldig en over het algemeen zou ik zeggen dat het meer een 3-sterren hotel is en geen 4-sterren hotel.

The arrival was super, good informations, we asked for a good restaurant near-by andthe advice was so good that we 6 out of 7 nights went to that restaurant. The room was well cleaned every day. We enjoyed Orange Hotel

We chose this hotel for proximity to Vatican City and the many amenities; room service, rooftop meals, rooftop view, handicap, accessible everywhere. Well, the restaurant was closed . The Jacuzz you have to pay €32 per person to use. We called the hotel from the airport for early check-in were told we could get early check-in by 11 o’clock. We paid for a taxi service for all of us to get there including my mom in a wheelchair and were told there was no early check-in we’d have to wait till 3 o’clock no exceptions if a room happened to open up, it would cost us another €30 per person to enter any room early and they lied they said they never spoke to anyone and that was a big lie. And So we had to take my mom in a wheelchair and my whole family and go find a place to park for three hours sees me for hours while they read it up our rooms the handicap accessible part is they have a lift that takes you from the bottom floor to the base floor of the lobby there’s two lobbies ones on the left ones on the right basically ones in the front was in the back we can only answer the front one the Back being too many stairs. This is a big issue. The room had a big step up to the bathroom. The rooms were dirty, dusty, smelly and old. No toiletry articles actually had to ask for everything blankets, etc. not 4 star at all 2 at best. We booked 3 rooms and all 3 rooms sakes issues. My sisters room looked like there was blood on the wall.

There is a lot of mix feeling about this hotel. The location is great about 5 min walk to the Vatican. The room are so-so. No big deal. The first room the Ac didn’t work and and u can see there where some water damage or stain in the wall also it smelled moldy in the first room. The second room was good just water stain in the walls but the biggest problem was the noise that came from the restaurant which is 2 feet next to the hotel and did not close till 2 am if your a light sleeper they will keep you up. With the loud talking Shout out the the two male staff at the front desk. They were every helpful
